The Stoppable Force

Simply a hilarious name. In case you aren't aware, the name of this very poor quality item is a play of the name of an epic item you can purchase after becoming exalted in the Alterac Valley battleground called "The Unstoppable Force".

In my opinion, there should also be a 'The Movable Object', as there also is a 'The Immovable Object' (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=19321).

I know I've seen a gray... shield, I think... that isn't called the Movable Object but something very similar and for the life of me I can't recall the name. I'll get out the thesaurus, maybe it'll come to me.

It is a random drop, just like the current grey items, so just grind a lot of mobs around level 67-69, you have a chance for this one killing them. However, besides the funny name, this is best put to use as money by selling it, like most grey items...

Found both The Stoppable Force and Stone Reaper within minutes of each other. ALMOST kept both just to show off.

when shaman got thier talent trees redone at 60, enhancement shaman weilding a two hander at the time of thier points being reset had thier two hander destroyed while they were offline. as a cruel joke by blizzard the GM's incharge of item replacement sent all the shaman asking for thier TUF's back a Stoppable Force. unfortunatley they couldnt refund it because they had no record of the weapon being destroyed. players had to send in screen shots of them weilding it. dont believe me? this used to be all over the shaman forums.

Those last two comments should be voted down and deleted, it hurts my brain when i try to understand what it says.

would like to say that this is the most powerful weapon in this game, i hope your not the one whose gonna be in front of THAT when it hits you.

Of course there has to be an Axe, a Mace and a Sword.

Are you talking about vendoring it? If so, many two-handed grey weapons share that same feature. Same with Outlands "monster" garbage. A stack of Broken Boar tusks is 1.75ish gold.

"The Stoppable Force" is also the guild name for the best damn horde side casual guild on Azjol-Nerub.

The references to "The Unstoppable Force" and "The Immovable Object" (and by extension, The Stoppable Force), are based off of the Irresistible Force paradox.

I got mine off a Magister in Magisters' Terrace so they do drop off of people in 2.4

I remember hearing a similar story, except it was a GM who responded: "Why would Chuck Norris kick himself in the chin?"

It's not a Scientific question, it's more of a Philosophical question. No known force is "Unstoppable" and no known object is "Immovable".

"What happens if an unstoppable force hits an immovable object...?" Easy, the 2 cannot coexist in the same universe no matter what since one cannot exist if the other does under any circunstance (wiseass mode) :)

The Reason this exists is because when the Unstoppable for hit the Immovable object SAURFANG was born. Thus they had completed their mission and become Stoppable and Movable, Saurfang then went and killed Mankrik's wife.

What happens when High Overlord Saurfang cleaves Chuck Norris? Chuck Norris dies.

i made up what happens when the unstoppable force stops the immovable object: -the unstoppable force loses all its power, all the mettle and glowy stuff of the outside gets absorbed into the immovable object. -the immovable object shatters. mankriks wife told saurfang that swords were better than axes, so he knockbacked her. she flew through the barrens, but a shard of the immovable object impaled her through the head.

Best weapon in the game so far.

Why would you equip a gray weapon in the first place?

First thing i did with the Stoppable force was wear it. I wore both unstoppable and stoppable as a fury warrior because of my history with Unstoppable force.

Lol i !@#$ing wanna kill myself now i got it on my alt lvling threw outlands and this dropped it was cool novelty but i accidently deleted it :(.

This item is actually the unintended result of a massive raid on Orgrimmar that occurred just before TBC released One of the MS warriors in the raid attacked Saurfang with http://www.wowhead.com/?item=19323 and caused a MASSIVE server crash, which, in a tremendous explosion of epicness, created this weapon

because not even chuck norris can survive saurfang's cleave crit
