Comparible too : Light's Justice (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28771) and Tears of Heaven (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29274) which together give 13 STA, 19 INT, 17 SPI 404 Healing and 5 Mp5. While not as customizable due to the lack of gems, and not quite as much mana regen, it still makes a very good combo.

Just got this hotty, socketed with 2 Royal Nightseye and the epic healer gem from Bladefist, plus enchanted with +81 healing. Already got Light's Justice, and used to combine it with Tears of Heaven and Windcaller's Orb. ^_~

if you put a http://www.wowhead.com/?item=24057 in every available slot in your gear, including this staff, enchant your gear with +mana/5sec gear, you could have some amazing mana regen. full mooncloth tailoring set would be amazing mana regen gear. possible to have over 200 mana/5 sec from gear. then factor in your regen from spirit and you would never need to use a mana pot again. would never go oom. simply amazing

yeah but in adding all of that mp5 you don't have enough stamina to last through the inevidable AOE and random target spells that bosses tend to throw at raids. Managing gems can be quite difficult when further researched. :)

The one that should be updated is the blue quest reward, as long as this skin don't fits a shammy weapon -It's suposed to be Oronok's old weapon-. Instead, check some Velen's concept art, and you'll find some sketches of "cof" Exodar "cof" Life-Staff wielded by him ^^

Honestly, I like the graphic. I currently have the rare staff that shares its graphic (Staff of the Redeemer). They're the only two staves in the game that have this graphic, whereas most green and blue staves share the same 5 graphics spread out. So no complaints here! I'd love to have this one, who knows.. I might get it eventually.

a standard blue gemming for this is 2 royal nighteye, 1 luminous noble topaz (luminous noble topaz + socket bonus = royal night eye with 4 int) which gives you 4 int 27 healing and 6mp5 from gems, final stats preenchant 38 int 391 healing 24 mp5

compared to Crystalheart Pulse-Staff from Magtheridon -50 stam -12 int +9 healing +8 mp5

if you were to take the gems to the hyjal/bt epic versions of the above gems (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32219, http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32216) you could get 1 more int and 6 more total healing

so compared to Crystalheart -50 stam -11int +15 healing +8 mp5

By far one of the prettiest staves that are easily obtainable (with Argus/Immaculation being t6 content). Possibly the new Benediction in graphics if Kazzak wasn't so hard for scrub guilds to kill.

Also is the staff the Priest in the Lich King trailer video is using.

Mild was referring to Staff of the Redeemer, which is one of the quest rewards you can choose from completing The Cipher of Damnation. The quest is a very long quest chain starting from Hand of Gul'dan and is a prerequisite to the TK attunement quest chain. For those enthusiastic collectors of good-looking staves, soloing the quest chain is still not easy at all as a clothie. I can't say for mail w

It would be good for a level 70 character, since you can put wrath gems in it. But worth it? probably not, whilest it either cost you a lot of effort or money, you won't be using it for long, and you can get pretty good gear just from questing in the starter areas of Northrend. Example? Tower of the Infinite Mind for example, wich gives pretty good stats, and is a quest reward from Borean Tundra.

There are only 2 models of this staff and this is the only boe version. So if someone really wants this model for transmog and has already done the shadowmoon valley quest chain but chose a different reward or just got rid of it, this is the only way to get it. So it will be worth some nice gold.

So for my mage, I'm sticking at 70 and in BC gear to enjoy some BC raiding, esp with the Raid Finder coming up. Anyhow, noticed Kazzak for the first time ever while flying thru Hellfire (thank you, NPCScan) and downed him with my blood DK. The staff and mail shoulders fell - now that's a lucrative boss! I find that this staff, when 3-gemmed even with only BC gems + enchantment it is about the most powerful thing I can find around in BC for a caster. I could be wrong. But anyhow, it is a classic epic. Also cool to have something that has fallen so few times (relative to Wowhead drop stats). And gonna keep it for transmog when that comes; works great for my Draenei mage and keeps the Exodar theme rolling.

While it may be somewhat off topic for this item, in regards to using LFR for lower level dungeons, Blizzard has stated that they won't have the earlier expansions' raids available with the tool, or at least not for a while. On topic, though, I made sure to keep the staff when I finished the questline. While not very warlockish, one cannot have too many staves in the bank. My bank vault looks like a broom closet with all of them in there.

Appears to be at the end of a very long quest chain, it might be easier to just farm it or pay the ~6kg. Don't get your hopes up opening a ticket, I've had another item refused restoration under the same circumstances.

Took me between 1 and 2 hours to finish the whole quest line start to finish at level 83 or so. Unless you value your time at >7.5kg/hour (based on wowhead's average AH buyout price), I would suggest doing the quest line instead of buying it. The quest line starts [quest=10681] if you're Horde, [quest=10680] if you're Alliance.

This item is a great choice for Transmogrification for those of use that do not have anything else. Since the item is BoE and decently easy to obtain aside from the Auction House, this will likely be a popular choice until a prettier staff can be found ^-^
