Dropped for my group in Hellfire Ramparts, the first/lowest level wing of Hellfire Citadel (5-man dungeon), from a normal monster, not a boss.

I got it last night from a chest in Hellfire Ramparts.

It's a fairly common random world drop. It can also be found in instances. Since the expansion has come out, I've seen three of them and that's just for me.

My buddy got this three hours after expansion went live and sent it to his warrior and it just sat there while we leveled our mains. now he's playing his warrior and running around with it. it's a great weapon... really shouldnt be so low level req >=)

20 crit rating is a big difference.

So is the ability to be dual-wielded by Fury Warriors. Just saying. ;-)

This dropped twice for me in one night off random mobs in Hellfire; first was a Helboar near Honor Point and the second was one of those Na'gan miners under Honor Hold. Nice little gifts for me as I had taken a year off from the game. ;)

I had to kill my last Infernal Warbringer for a quest and it dropped :]

Love the looks and it hits pretty hard for a level 61 Warrior. Good stats to for a warrior!

This sword has an INSANE amount of crit rating for a level 60, I'd HIGHLY recomend buying one if you can find one. I used it on my ret paladin from 60-66, until I could buy the green sword from Halaa with 80-something DPS. Even for a 70 this is a LOT of crit. I've even seem some hunters use one, but since they get no AP from it, I'd suggest going for something with AP/AGI unless you find this really cheap or win a greed roll for it or something.

I too have seen a lot of hunters using this. This is *not* a hunter weapon. Given that you get the [url=http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29908]Rage Reaver[/url] very shortly after entering Outland, no hunter in their right mind should be using this weapon. That said, there are a *lot* of bad hunters out there.

I got this from a chest in Ramparts, and got totally stoked. I replaced it with Hellreaver because of the 20 more to crit chance. But if you get a 35 agi enchant this weapon will rule at lvl 60.

Just sold this for 99g99s buyout. according to wowhead i couldve prolly gotten around 120g. Nice and easy money :) sold like 10 secs after I announced it in tradechat xD

The +45 crit rating will improve your chance to get a critical strike by abot 3.4%. For me, a standard arms spec warrior with Outlands questing gear at level 60, it boosts my crit chance up to above 21% A great weapon for a low-60's arms or 2h fury warrior.

With my fury warrior im duel-wielding these, so my crit is about 35% over all with my equipment. they are both enchanted with mongoose and combined with my talents i crit about half my attacks so it makes for the best fury weapon form 60-70 at least.

Note that as of Cata you must be a level 69 Fury spec warrior to talent into dual wielding two-handed weapons. A blade true to it's name!

I picked up this weapon for my LVL 61 Ret Pally and OMG!!!. I now actually surprised when my attacks DON'T crit. With this weapon and the Retribution specced pally talents, I can deal massive damage with at least 4 different spells/abilities that will crit for 900-1500 dmg at least 5-6 times per fight. This weapon will crit between 700-800 dmg average, Seal of Command will crit 800-900, Judgement of Command crits around 1400-1500 and Crusader Strike crits around the same as the sword. On top of that and the finish the fight, Hammer of Wrath crits for 1400-1500 ftw. Retribution Pallys are almost like having a badass Tank and Spank Warrior that can heal themselves. Unless I'm acting as a healer, I'm always the last one alive in any fight and most times have to clean up the mess and rez everyone. I love my Ret pally. Oh and I will be getting http://www.wowhead.com/?item=27769 when I reach 70. Same weapon basically, but with higher damage.

Just a couple notes re your post : the crit strike rate of your Judgement of Command, and of your Hammer of Wrath, are based on spell crit, not melee crit, and so this sword does nothing for their crit chance. SoC and CS are based off melee crit tho, so this will help.

Hammer of Wrath uses your melee crit chance. Seal of Command uses your melee crit but the Jugement uses your Spell crit. Also, Endbringer is not a good weapon because 1) it has the same stats as a lvl 60 sword and 2) by the time you'll be doing heroic Underbog you will have a much better weapon.

I just wanted to clarify.... You are correct about the Judgements using Spell Crit rating. I should have made that point. I was aware of that, but never made mention of it. Thanks for the information. I just picked up the Sword from the dealer in Halaa in Nagrand with 80-something DPS and 27 crit. Gonna try it out versus the Blade of Misfortune. My crit rating went down substantially, but I'm gonna try to add the +35 Agility Enchantment to it and see if I can get comparable crits with it. If I can get close then I believe I'm done with the Blade of Misfortune... if not, I will go back to it as I have not sold or disenchanted it yet. Will post again to let everyone know.

I got this as a drop from one of the bonechewers just outside Thrallmar on my first visit there; I'm dual wield specced but this is worth using anyway!

Yes i dropped 150, and i was very happy with this weapon. I also chant it with savagery very amazing sword.

Just got this for my up and coming ret pally for 20g. I believe someone mis-posted the amount on this as I see them regularly selling for 100-200g.

This wep is dam good, but the drop rate is just... You must be lucky to pick this up.

i was just killing some boars at hellfire peninsula outside spinebreaker post when this amazing weapon dropped.... i just saw it and said.... i looted this???? omg i'm gonna start an arms warrior :D

picked mine up for 119gp on Sentinel today. I'm level 56 but I just had to snatch this one up. I went Retribution on my pally and crit nearly 18% now with my spec mostly focused on Agility & crit chance. I believe this sword will do the trick. If I find something better in the meantime I can always sell it back because I saw two up on the AH for 150gp bid a few minutes ago. Thanks for all the great comments about this sword. They all helped me make up my mind.

I bought for 80g when i was 58, in anticipation of the outland grind. I slapped on demonslayer enchant, because it's cheap and useful in HFP(if you are melee, i recommend this! the stun proc is great). I'm currently 64 and have yet to find a replacement. Hellreaver has dropped twice for me in ramps, but this sword's crit is too much to pass up. You can be cheap and hope for a Hellreaver drop, but on my other character I did about 5 ramp runs and never saw it.

A friend gave this to me when I hit 60, it was a great weapon. I used to till 65 when I got a Honed Voidaxe, then I used that till 66 when I got a Terrok's Quill, which I used up until 70. I highly recommend getting an enchant like Savagery on it (I had that on the 3 weps I listed) because you're going to be using it for quite some time. At 65, do the Ring of Blood.

I got this drop pretty early in the outlands at lvl 58 and sold it for 33 gold on the auctions because my addon recommended it! Darn it!

Great for low level warriors trying to level in TBC if you have a main. I would suggest getting this, this can last you a while if you don't do instances.

On top of this, the Hellreaver and Warsong Howling Axe apply to Poleaxe Specialization, increasing crit chance 5%. Sword Specialization adds extra attacks to swings. So, if you're a warrior, you're actually getting more crit from the other two.

Sword spec is superior to poleaxe specialization because dubble hit is the same as a crit, BUT the dubble hit can crit as well which make it superior to poleaxe spec. On the other hand i dont think sword spec dubbles the damage of a mortal strike if it proccs on hit, just another normal swing bonus and in that case poleaxe is better since it makes your special abilitys crit more.

You cannot make a post that strictly puts one weapon spec over the others as all specs have their advantages and disadvantages, sure sword spec is a 5% chance to swing twice, but the swing can miss, be dodged, blocked, parried, etc.

Generally its sword spec > all for PvE, for rogues and warriors at least
