New Winter's Veil clothes only obtained through tailoring. They look very, provocative on females...

but the nude model edit looks far more porny than this

Its actually 16 Runecloth, because it takes 4 Runecloth for one Bolt of Runecloth. But if you are just makeing one or two of these buy stacks of 20 wouldnt hurt.

Runecloth bolts used to take more than 4 as they do now; his post was correct when he posted it.

I'm not certain, but judging by the auction houses, Horde gets green and Alliance gets red. Tailors (250 and over?) may receive the recipe in their mailbox as a present from greatfather winter.

This is crafted from a pattern sent in the mail by Greatfather Winter to Horde tailors (250+) only. There's no quest to complete, if you're a tailor and 250 or greater, the pattern for this will appear in your mailbox on the first day of Winter's Veil (in game Christmas event). I am a 375 tailor and I did not get the pattern in the mail.

Actually, my level 40 warlock with 223 tailoring got this pattern in his mailbox just this afternoon!

Alliance tailors can get it too, I just met one who got it in a mail from Greatfather Winter... EDIT: He didn't have it, he lied... But I have seen alliance tailors announcing that they are selling it...

You don't need to be a 250 tailor to get this pattern. I got this pattern in the mail while my talior was only at 235. I'm not sure if what level of a tailor you have to be (If any) to get this pattern, but you definately don't need to be at 250.

FYI... even thouhg its gray in the mid 300's... this still gave me skill up... i used it to go from 368 to 375.. i raised a level about every 4 i made... so its alot easier and less expensive than the 350+ patterns....

As Limbero said Alliance tailor can get them to i did se them on the AH in SW so thats not only Horde getting it but the rate is like +90% to get it and Ally is +10% to get it and +90% on Ally to get red and +10% for Horde to get red. Kinda boring cuz many Allys on my server (The Shattered Hand) want the green one mutch cooler does i say

: / I think the ones you see on "the wrong side" use the neutral AH to get them there.

If you are sneaky and willing enough as an alliance, you can sneak into Orgrimmar and purchase this pattern from the npc there.

Eebee Jinglepocket (https://www.wowhead.com/npc=23064/eebee-jinglepocket) in Shattrah is friendly to Horde and Alliance.

Really easy to get it now. I Just came back from Org after getting the pattern. The way back was rough, i had a priest trying to kill me. Now that im back, im mass producing these for money.

since this outfit is made by tailors wouldnt you assume it is cloth? when i go to equip it i get the message that its not the preferred armor type

Prior to 2017 Winter Veil, if you have made/had the following : [ul] [li][item=34086][/li] [li][item=34087][/li] [li][item=34085][/li] [/ul] Be aware these do not appear nor can they be added to your appearance tab, but will still be in your bag. Also they will not be changed to the newer item that you can add to your appearance tab.You will need to obtain/make and equip a new set that can be crafted from the same recipe. the old non-cosmetic items are also no longer craftable/obtainable. My tailor and leatherworker can no longer craft the old items. They are crafted with the new item IDs, as cosmetic items.

They are still "obtainable", but only if you have one prior to the change -- you can still trade or sell it. The old ones did not change to the new ID. However, no new ones of that ID (non-cosmetic) can be crafted as the recipe only makes the new ones.

The old, common quality (white) version of Green Winter Clothes can no longer be crafted. These have a distinct advantage; they don't bind, so they can be mailed and shared for the achievement.
