Elanor's Edge

A very nice model for this dagger :). Definetely my favourite model yet.

Felt very lucky to find this at the Ironforge AH for 299g and pounced on it. Was a 70 at time of purchase, so it gives me something to look forward to when I hit 73! This thing looks wicked! I will miss the red vapor trail from The Nightblade though...

Got 2 of these as Mutilate/PvE Rogue, very nice! (got them for about 120g a piece off AH, Dunemaul-EU)

I found these for 60g each in AH and instantly bought them I wanted to sell them back for a higher price, but I changed my mind, specced assassination and equipped them :) These daggers are the best!

This is idd a very nice dagger, stats, speed and all, and i also have bought 2 which I have in the bank waiting to hit lvl 73. But after getting [url=http://www.wowhead.com/?item=35595]Glacier Sharpened Vileblade[/url] I noticed the dps is alot higher than on this dagger, I know stats means alot, but lvl required and dps normaly scale or is it just me :P

Just picked this up, and it doesn't have "Increases attack power by 566 in Cat, Bear, Dire Bear, and Moonkin forms only." anymore.

I'm pretty sure that means that you are not a druid.

Elanor, the sun-star, was a flower encountered in the fields of Lothlorien by the Fellowship of the Ring during their stay there. Possible reference.

Elanor is a common female name in real life. I see nothing about this dagger to connect it to Lord of the Rings (having been a fan of the books myself for 23 years). I very highly doubt this is a reference to the flower in the book, it just makes no sense - now if it was named 'Elanor Gamgee's Edge', then you could say there is a connection.

As a human being named Elanor - I can tell you the connection comes with the spelling - normally spelled Eleanor or Eleanore. This spelling is purely from Tolkien I believe.

I believe it is totally preposterous to think that anyone in today's age would be named Elanor of any spelling regardless of what Tolkien might imply in his writings. tyvm

WTH does ANY of this have to do with the quality/value of the blade and whether this is shard bait or should be put up on the AH. JEesh... focus children... focus.. *shakey shakey* Ridlin anyone?

I'm not sure if your nerd rage is funnier or your spelling of Ritalin. If, after six years of WoW, you can't figure out whether or not to shard this simply based on the average BO price versus the price of shards on your server, then even "Ridlin" isn't going to help.

i found this item in a froststeel lockbox , but i personally dont recomend using this for lvling , maybe pvp...but your best choice is to sell for around 150g , i sold mine for 130g. if you really want a pretty good dagger go for http://www.wowhead.com/?item=35655 or even http://www.wowhead.com/?item=35595 they are my 2 weapons and im a lvl 73 rogue , assasination/sublety lvling

Not worth the gold IMO.. the [url=http://www.wowhead.com/item=36479]green dagger w/ req. level 73[/url] is almost as good and 1/4 of the price; the 0.1 speed difference only translates to a 3 damage difference on the top end (203 vs. 206). Not to mention, you'll be cruising to 80 in short order and this will be sharded or vendored within days...

I found this item in a [url=http://www.wowhead.com/object=207528]Maplwood Treasure Chest[/url] at 66,56 Grizzly Hills, in the Furlbolg camp. It contained 72 silver, [url=http://www.wowhead.com/item=37802]Elanor's Edge[/url], and I also received somewhere near 32000 experience.

Random world drop in Northrend, from kills or from chests. No sense looking for it anywhere but on AH. Not bad for a Rogue. The dps and stats initially look great for Enh. Shaman, but it's a bit fast, so the top-end damage isn't as high as a slower weapon with a higher max damage/hit.

I actually had this drop off of a Drakkari Gutripper (or maybe King Dred) just now. I'm not sure which, as I pulled the whole pack of lizards in Drak'Tharon Keep. Same drop rate as the Astral Light Bow, which is what I'm farming for. Le sigh.

This dropped off a [url=https://wowhead.com/npc=27226]Forgotten Peasant[/url] after 33 kills in Dragonblight. You'll have better luck farming chests, but good luck all the same!
