Deadly Blunderbuss

If you ar leveling up Engineering this is a Great gun to make. It is sold for around 1g - 3g on the AH and it will only cost around 70s max to make. So alot fo profit. The Reason it is worth so much is because it is used for a quest (Warsong Saw Blades) in Ashenvale at around level 22. Mats: 2x Copper Tube - Made from Copper Bars. 2x Medium Leather 4x Handful of Copper Bolt's - Copper bars again. 1x Wooden Stock - You can buy this from a Vendor.

The base materials required are: 8x Copper Bar 2x Weak Flux 1x Wooden Stock 2x Medium Leather

It should be noted that the Weak Flux and Wooden Stock are sold by vendors, so if you're a miner the only thing you cannot easily get yourself is the leather, which you should be able to pick up fairly cheap in the auction house.

The core mats needed for the creation of the Deadly Blunderbuss are as follows: 2x Weak Flux (Vendor bought) 8x Copper Ore (Mining) 1x Wooden Stock (Vendor bought) 2x Medium Leather (Skinning) Might be useful for those who always forget what's needed for the low level engineering components.

This quest is only available to the Horde though, so I suppose the cost effectiveness of using this gun only applies to them. That is, of course, unless you see people selling guns at the neutral AH -- but I doubt the Horde would bother going there to buy one anyway. Stay away from this if you are Alliance, in other words!

Mobs are level 28+; I just did that run as a 26 shammy and was barely able to get through had it not been for totems.

Great for Horde engineers, its needed in a horde quest.

I hate the print screen on the orc with underpants. But now i know how the gun looks. >:(

If you wanna make some quick money, just undercut everyone else who is selling these. I put three Deadlys up for a few silver less than the next guy, and all three sold in under ten minutes.

I use this on my Draenei hunter.It was cheap at the AH and already came scoped for about 1 gold.It does more damage than the quest rewards I've gotten so far,plus the Terminator style firing goes great with it.

1-3g? on my server these things tend to go for 20-30g, (Horde ofc) i guess to many people give money to their alts from their main for this to become such a high buyout price. makes it hard for people like me who just rerolled to a different server :(

Tis the law of supply and demand, if you don't like it then, don't buy it or get the mats and have someone make one for you or take up Engineering and make it yourself. There's zero reason outside laziness to buy it in the AH and I love the lazy ones because back when I used them to level up I made a good bit of gold at my level because of them selling for 10-20G each.

These are a required item for a horde quest "Warsong Supplies". The rewards for this quest are very good superior quality gear for lvl 26-30 players. Since engineers are the only ones able to make this, they are in high demand therefore making them skyrocket in price on the auction house...

Atm I'm selling those guns for around 45g buyout at AH :) Love rich PvE guy with alts. Who say engineering make no money? :)

Warning to anyone planning to level engineering with those for profit. [u]After The Shattering the quest that required this item to complete no longer exists..[/u]Thus you arent probably going to make any money out of this. If you have any info of this item being required for another quest that makes it profitable again please post it.

pretty nice gun if you don't mind the lack of stats (or if you hate the crossbows that they keep giving you from quests, so uncivilized)

In 4.3 the component list for this item is completely changed, while obsoleting usage of Copper Tube (which became grey item [item=4361]).

This gun cannot be used for Transmogrification for some reason. :(
