I did notice that my Belf's hair goes rather short when wearing this hat. Like it gets cut neck length unlike it being tucked under but [u]cut[/u]. She normally has long flowing red hair....

I had to make my banker lvl 6 for blood elf bandit mask or authentic jr. engineering goggles, kobold mining shovel (with fiery) for the amount of AH shovel work I do. I have a black embersilk dress and alternate that with various holiday dresses and gowns.

I was hacked and all my stuff was sold, but the hackers, being nice sports, bought me this hat. It's all I have left.

As soon as "making profit" from an item is uttered, people get annoyed, believing he is taking advantage of those lacking the knowledge of it's value and then reposting it at it's actual market value. He has taken time to research it's value, those who post too low have not, laziness on their part, deems them not victims, just people who choose to spend their time doing other things. Other believe, such comments "add nothing to the discussion", what crap, this comment has told others how to make some $$, how is that not good info about an item.

Nothing better than seeing one of these on the AH for 12g, buying them out and selling it for 120g. Easiest money I've ever made : )

Do these still drop? I've sold dozens of these since the fishing dailys started last year, but haven't gotten one in my bag in quite awhile.

I've just seen one of these for 1g buyout on the AH. Snatched it up in a heartbeat! And now my bank alt is suitably pimped. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it!

This item currently does NOT have any armor. Wowhead has either made a mistake, or the item was hotfixed very quickly. Sorry to anyone, like myself, that rushed out and bought one for several hundred gold without looking carefully.

It seems to have regained it's 40 armor that it previously had. Either another error from the patch 4.0.3, or an actual change? Time will tell.

Holy cow! You're right! It's back! I actually bought one of these in a blind rush when I heard it had the armor. Then, when I got the hat, I discovered the armor was gone. On a lark, I decided to throw it in my bank, instead of on the AH. Boy, am I glad I did! Best-in-Slot! Let's hope Blizz has made up their mind for good. As a side note, I no longer feel bad about the Hallowed Helm not dropping this year. :)

I have had 5 people today alone come up to my bank alt as I was selling stuff asking me where i got it. Even has someone offer to give me a 4 tab Guild Bank if I would give him the item. I LoL'd at him. I am never getting rid of this Or the Diamond Tipped Cane.

Dude, a hat with the same style as this can be made by leatherworkers....where was that guy you Lol'ed at, who offered you 4 tab bank for it......duh!

Expect to pay somewhere between 200-300 gold or more for one of these on an RP server.

I play on an RP server and believe me thats cheap... around 500-1.5k is where ive seen em.
