Nope, Alayea is right. Frozen orbs were never BoP. Please check sources BEFORE commenting debating comments.
This looks delicious for Ele shamans, honestly - spirit (which equals +hit) and haste.
Plus, it's good for offspec/mainspec Resto. :3
It's fixed in the current PTR build. :)
+1 on Frozen orbs were never BoP. I remember buying a few from AH when I hit 80, the price was 500g or so (in the first days of the expansion). Primal Nether and Nether Vortex were changed in patch 2.4. Anyone who claims that they were BoP go ahead post a patch notes where they were changed, until then everyone upvote Alayea's comment before it gets deleted with valid information.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't primal nethers and frozen orbs used to be BoP until later patches that made them trade able.
Yeah well... he did say "in an", and not "in the" upcoming patch. Could be any time.
It's also perfect for the Elemental Shaman.

This is an AMAZING first epic for those cata healers.
Yet the current patch notes do not reference this fix at all.
Chaos Orbs are now BoE.
With the 4.1 changes in mind, both very cheap and very BiS for holy paladins. Only lazyness keeps you from this delicious spacefigher looking shield.
