While many dagger rogues may be put off by this weapon at first due to the proc, do not be fooled, this weapon has a very low proc rate. The rate is so low that it does not have any effect on soloing. Using this dagger you may see a proc once every 10 fights, although I do not know a precise rate for the weapon.

I scan the auction house really regularly, and auctioneer collects statistics on how often it sees items. This is among the most rare items I have seen. Over the last four years (since I last reset my data), I've seen this dagger only 22 times, including the one I just bought. Of course I don't see the ones that are kept rather than sold, or the ones that are posted and snatched up before I have a chance to see them, but that's true for most items. It occasionally drops from a Rare Elite in Zul'Farrak, so if you're looking on the auction house, it's very rare.
