Even with the myriad of references Blizzard puts in their game, I gotta be honest: I never thought I'd see an item named after a porn star.

Mia the rose? http://www.wowhead.com/npc=46343/ A nelf rogue, clearly a reference to Mia Rose, a porn star known to play as a nelf in WoW. One of the lines she says when you aggro her is even: "I knew you were coming. No one can resist me, not even you!" Also somewhat skimpy dressed.

Had you not said anything, some of us would have never known. That was NOT a complaint, by the way.

He won the item, then realised that he couldn't use it!

Some crazy loon asking 20K for this on my server. There ought to be a penalty to players who charge too much. Or a button that says hide the auctions of crazy people. Or they should set a max price at which things can be sold, like maybe 200g. Or they could just mail everyone the stuff as they create it and we could pick what we want I mean this SUPPOSED to be America. People should all have the same equipment.

Not to launch into a political discussion but America is all about the free market. If you want everyone to have the same equipment you can go back in time and take a trip to Soviet Russia... enjoy your beet rations.

Btw Blizz you need to have the good weapons like this drop a lot more from like lower level mobs no one wants to play without the good weapons k and no one wants to have to go farming for them k, get on it.

Agreed it goes for 9500 on the AH on Eldre'Thalas. And I wish I could get it on all 3 of my casters with out having to pay that much for one staff.

This must have devalued significantly since release then. Just picked one up for 399G. Most I see are around 6-800 ish.

this staff includes a fiery glow, but it's not one of those weapons that hides enchants. adding power torrent will make it doubly fiery. its future use in transmog might depend on the color of mist enchant glows.

This looks BEAUTIFUL with warlock's tier 15 "Thousandfold Hells" set as a transmog.

I'd say it's Power Torrent. It's got that magnificent purple energy storm that I seem to recall Power Torrent have. Plus, many of the screenshots that look thebsame specify it as Power Torrent...

If you want the actual purple spire of scarlet pain you need to have a crystallized firestone that only drops from any of the bosses, ( a chance drop), and a lvl 378 spire of scarlet pain, you hand both these into the tauren outside the entrance to firelands. You get the 378 spire from the trash mobs or you can buy one in the AH if available. Good luck :)
