This pattern drops from many more NPCs than noted in Wowhead. One dropped for us from trash mobs in Sethekk Halls between the first and second bosses (heroic), and yet, along with many other locations, it's not noted here. An update of drop areas would be very helpful for those actually looking to get this pattern.
Blizz really needs to add more moonkin gear to the game, pretty much everything is badge bought

Just dropped for me while killing Demons in Shadowmoon while trying to get gorfiends bow quest item to drop. I agree the mats are so crazy i dont think many would want this crafted.

There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of info regarding prices, so I'll drop my 2 cents: The materials aren't exactly hard to get, the item is a pretty sweet T-mog piece, and the drop itself is very rare. I would not sell this for less than 6000g, and that's lowballing it.
Dropped for me today from elven trash in Black Temple on the way to Elf Advisor Bosses. Got quite a few other patterns too - spam starfall and have a looterang!

I have been looking for this pattern for some time now so if you have this and you're on Misha, for gods sake drop it in AH.

This item is not removed from the game, so there is not the mass of people out there stockpiling it or trying to gouge the AH with prices over 100k etc. Its just simply extremely rare
Look at that drop chance! 0.01%, and the others average so low that it rounds to 0.00% !
Trust me if someone on your server wants this, whether they're a collector or completionist, they will buy yours, so long as you make it available and below 15k to 20k (the lower, the faster you can sell it).
Dont give up or take the quick road and sell it for a measly 1k or 3k etc.
I just won this in the AH for under 200g. I'm undecided if I should learn it or resell it.
While it makes a nice head peice, the mats seem a bit outrageous (18 primal air and 10 primal mana!?!). I know I'll never farm mats to make and sell one. I'm wondering what the likelyhood is of crafting them for others?
Has anyone seen what the demand for the hood is on their servers?
