Just to say for a little background of what I know..........Proximo was umungst the first 10 to fight in the Roman Games back in BC times, he was the 1 of the 3 left standing at the end of the Match and his sword he used somewhat look's exacttly like this one and for a grey has some awsome Speed.

to buy this sword you can either get from the AH for a few thousand gold to 20k or more, or buy from the vendor in Nagrand at Halaa, bear in mind you need to have control of HALAA to buy the sword from the vendor...good luck oh and remember to flag yourself for pvp or you cant capture the town..

Lesson learned the hard way, this is considered "JUNK" and will be sold if you have autosell addon turned on... SO, if you are working on the Waist Of Time.... Do Not Open A Merchant, or be sure to buy it back if it was sold.

If you need to get this for the [item=162690]...

(just an fyi, you can potentially buy this in your auction house if someone else has taken the trouble to get it and put it in your AH)

First your faction needs to own Hala, if it does it's a no brainer you just buy it from the vendor.

If your faction doesn't own Hala (you should see which faction owns it at the top of the screen when in Nagrand (outland)) then you're going to have to get it.

To own Halaal: - you need to enable pvp (not sure if wm on will cut it). - you need to kill all the guards. At 120 you can simply 1-shot them (thank god you don't need to bomb them because it takes forever). - Once you've killed all the guards you need to be in Halaal (not flying, on the ground). Then you'll see a slider object on your screen that will slowly move to your factions side (you won't see this slider if you are in stealth, so you can't be in stealth). Once it gets all the way to the end the vendor you need will show up.

All during this time there will be zone wide announcements that Hala is being attacked, so be aware that you may have to do some pvp.

Yeah this whole process takes forever, and if you're not good at PVP and you're on a populated server, you'll end up very frustrated and still may not end up getting the [item=30569] after all your efforts! Spending half an hour PVPing and waiting for the vendor to spawn, only to have the vendor be killed immediately after spawning... that's not my definition of "fun." I'm quite relieved these can be bought/sold on the Auction House, because if not, I'd have been screwed. I'm more than happy to fork over a bit of gold so that someone else can deal with this headache for me, lol.

I wouldn't call it "trivial": it can still be a big pain in the ass. Even if you have an alt on the same server that is of the faction that is currently controlling Haala, you can still end up having to wait quite a while for the vendors to even spawn, if they were killed. It takes a while for the corpse to despawn, and it takes even longer for the vendor to respawn. And then, if there's a nasty person camping it, there's a high likelihood that they will kill the vendor again before you even get the chance to buy [item=30569]! Super annoying. Best to just buy off the Auction House!

If you are seeking out this item for the Waist of Time secret, the vendor that sells Proximo's Rudius may not be spawned when you arrive in Halaa, A faction will need to be in control of Halaa for the vendor to spawn - preferably on your character's faction. I did this on a War Mode character with no faction in control of the area, thus no NPCs were spawned. It took less than five minutes to gain control of the flag.
