This weapon [b]does[/b] hide enchants for Transmog purposes. I have Windsong on a mace and it does not show through at all.

Worth noting that since latest, 7.0 update to transmog system this axe always transmogs with orange glow effect which cannot be hidden via transmog panel or applying another enchant on top of it. This questline requires characters with level 85 or above and the whole questline can be started via [quest=49538] on Warchief's Command Board in Orgrimmar. However, if this questline is not there due to various reasons, Demon Hunter class or Boosted character for expample, your can start this questline by picking up a quest [quest=29611] after talking to [npc=54870] in Grommash Hold, Orgrimmar.
