Just wanted to let everyone know that I had this Design and Serpent's Heart Design drop on regular mobs in Pandaria, I saw in patch notes they said Island of Thunder King.
It is more cost effective to use spirits of harmony to purchase Lotus and have alchemist transmute than to use the JC pattern. Even moreso when you factor in the chance for transmute specialized alchemists to proc multiples.
