As of now (non BC) this is one of the very few (the only, I think) BoP weapon from Blacksmithing. Everything else can be bought/sold at the AH.
it's not a bad weapon for a Mortal Strike warrior, if you get it at the level it's able to be used. The -30 Spirit makes it hard for a Paladin to use it, as it pretty much kills their mana regen, same deal with a Hunter.
It looks pretty cool. It uses the same model as the Whirlwind Sword, and if memory serves, those two swords, and a sword from Rag in MC, are the only weapons to use that model. I give it an A for style.
This item is found on the floor, next to a table. It is in the "Hoard" section of Stratholme.
