TheWoWDBFattyXP was probably playing a blood elf, which has the racial +10 bonus to enchanting. Having also just gotten my own enchanting blood elf to 250, I can confirm that in that for blood elves, it's orange at 250 (as you're technically at 240 skill), yellow at 260 (when you're at 250), green at 265 (255), and grey at 270 (260).
