As a BM hunter, does anyone know if this racial also applies to Stampede and Dire Beast?
According to the Blizzard information on the racial, "Orcs work well with combat pets, which receive a bonus to damage output under their care." Then key then is "combat pets" which should include elemental summons for Shaman and, contrary to popular belief, the Frost Mage, as these pets can receive combat instruction from the player.
The ability will probably not work for summons outside the player's control - such as Hunter's dire beast, Engineering summons, trinkets, or other guardian spawns.

I don't believe shaman totems count. Hunter pets and unholy dk pet counts. For water elemental im not sure. God this is so nerfed it used to be 5% in cata and 2% in MoP. Now 1% is barely noticed i guess.
This applies to the Shaman's totem pets.
Its pets, not summons or guardians.
But lock pets don't count?
