If you want to save your honor for something more useful, the Swift Gray Wolf can be an alternative. Of course they are not identical, but there are some things that resemble the other.
So, I'm guessing it's a bug (no pun intended), but one of these Black War Wolf mounts is sauntering around my garrison, and its tooltip calls it a Twilight Beetle. It persists through a reload, oddly.
