Eh, not really. Most locks specialize specifically for either shadow or fire damage. You'll notice that though some locks utilize both schools, the vast majority are either DoTing (shadow), Bolt Spamming (shadow), or Immolating+Incinerating+conflagrating (fire) and only really benefit from one school's spell damage. Nexus Crystals and Brilliant Shards are generally cheaper than LPSs and Primal Manas on many servers, so this is certainly a viable option... not to mention the other obvious advantage- it can be applied to your twink's gear to up his/her shadow damage. :D
best glove enchant for a lvl 19 or 29 warlock or shadow priest imo... goes hand in hand with Spell Power
