TheWoWDBAn amazing place for Alliance is The Maclure Vineyards in Elwynn Forest right under Goldshire on your map. The Stonetusk Boars are lvl 5-6 and take almost no time to respawn. I just got [Light Leather] x 4 from one skin so it is possible to get lucky skinny there. Keep in mind I'm in a lvl 25 guild and "Bountiful Bags" may have affected this.

The easiest area to farm Light Leather is around Camp Tauraio, Southern Barrens. Every beast drops 1-2 Light Leather every kill, no scraps just pure leather.
