This is an easy way to get a good-looking mount, assuming you have the gold to spare. If you're a bit strapped for cash, there are other easy mounts which don't cost quite as much cash.
As per patch 5.1, if you have the Alliance counterpart mount, the Armored Brown Bear (the one with the blue armor), you will get the Horde Armored Brown Bear (the one with the red armor) mount as well on your Horde characters.
