Requires LW 450 to craft and can be bought at the trainer in Dala :)
Anyone can use these as a consumable, also does not stack with Pala's Blessing of Kings / BoK

edit: had some problems getting this to stick on some members (including me) especially when Sanctuary is being used

This is my response to the questions and concerns I posted in the comments on this page yesterday. Read that entry first if any of this doesn't make sense.

I made the trip to Sholazar Basin today and farmed enough of the Primordial Drakes in just three passes through the small area they inhabit (The Savage Thicket) to craft three sets of Drums of Forgotten Kings. Doesn't sound like much, but three sets of drums, each having 50 charges, with each charge giving you or your party +4% Intellect, Strength, and Agility for 30 minutes, and now I have 75 hours worth of cold, refreshing "Blessing of Kings Lite" on-tap.

I am posting again to answer my own question... this MAGIC BUFF will stack with Guardian and/or Battle Elixirs or Flasks, any Well-Fed buff, basically anything except for the nearly-identical Mark of the Wild/Blessing of Kings/Legacy of the Emperor buffs, for obvious reasons. In my test, the more-powerful, full-strength 5% Int/Str/Agi buffs added the missing +1% to these primary stats when applied, And using the drums with the full-strength buff already applied had no effect... meaning that if you're not sure if your group needs the buff or not, using the drums could never hurt!

This is a great item, especially when you consider how quickly and easily the mats can be farmed, how a single slot in your bag can hold fifty charges, that extra bit of utility and flexibility you'll be able to bring to any party, to ensure you'll be asked back again and again... and if you're a Skinner/Leatherworker, these won't cost you a thing except a short farming session. Thanks to all of the people that posted here recently to say that these still work: Drums of Forgotten Kings have earned a permanent spot in my bags, and I'll be sending them to all my alts when they get to level 80. I wouldn't change a thing about them, except maybe to add an animation and some spooky drumming sounds that played on-use.

What makes me happy about this is, as a Beastmastery Hunter, I am always concerned with bringing the "missing" buff to any group, and rolling solo with the exotic pet that gives me the single best buff for the largest overall DPS increase. I love Spirit Beasts, which offer a flat +3000 to Mastery buff (increasing pet damage) and a decent heal (to myself, my pet, or party member) every 30 seconds; but according to my tests, I just recently passed the threshold where rolling with a Shale Spider provides me with the highest overall DPS. The problem is, I just don't like the way they look! Don't ask me why... but now, nobody will ever have to: I can get 80% of the Embrace of the Shale Spider buff by using these drums and continue to roll with Ghostcrawler, confident that I am not only going to be putting up the biggest numbers possible, but I'll be able to do so without feeling forced into putting my favorite pet away in the stable.
