TheWoWDBExcellent for training Ehcnanting to lvl170(lvl 180 for Blood elves), since it only requires strange dust. You can farm tons of green items that disenchant into sould dust in Ragefire chasm(horde). I could easily solo it till the end with a lvl20 warlock.

You can disenchant into Strange Dust*. And, Enchanting*. But yes, This is still true today. Doing it right now, however the enchant doesn't seem to give my mage any stamina, Very peculiar, will check again at higher levels, currently 15.
