Anyone else find it weird the green gems have a higher vendor sell value than the blue gems?
Weird: yes. Convenient: also. Increasing uncommon vendor prices mean there's a bottem for the ore market. Reducing rare vendor prices means AH cuts are kept under control. So although it's not very logical from a lore point of view, it was most likely done on purpose to improve AH interaction.
