TheWoWDBThese boots seems to be Best In Slot at the moment (outside of heroics), the only other plate tank boots is [item=70912] dropped from Lord Rhyolith but having expertise will make it not as attractive, although they definitely look a a lot better appearance wise.

For warriors, it's not the presence of expertise so much as the absence of mastery that makes the cracked obsidian stompers unattractive. Expertise is by far the best threat stat (better than str and twice as good as hit). I know that threat isn't an issue and not saying that it should be a priority, but having threat stats on a gear isn't make or break. Having mastery (for warriors and palis, at least) is. These are easily the BIS 378 boots, but the heroic cracked obsidian stompers will pull out ahead because of the insane amount dodge can be reforged, yielding a little less (but close to

These are fantastic for all 3 tanks (let's face it, Druids can't tank) and if you're a Blacksmith then you'll be wanting to make lots of these and the other new items in 4.2. Currently there are level 378 Epic Gloves and Boots for every class/spec.
