Arcane Torrent

This is the Warrior version of the Blood Elf racial.

I'm wondering and can't seem to find a current answer from anyone that actually knows; can this be resisted? I've played both a rogue and a paladin and haven't had it resisted since 2008 (when it used to resist abit), I've probably used it over a hundred times in the last year and haven't had one resist. Sure, I've had a number of "missed" attempts because of not being hit capped, but never a resist. I'm wondering did they change this particular spell to not resist (ie, not need spell pen) or has someone actually had it resist in the last year?

Resist only happens with magical damage (2000 nature damage (300 resisted)). Effects like the silence of Arcane Torrent and Counter Spell only miss now. Though not sure if it uses spell hit or melee hit for determining miss rate (for boss interrupts for example)
