Blood of the Rhino is definitely missing as of the Shadowlands pre-patch. Was this another undocumented change? Why is the Clefthoof still an "Exotic" if it doesn't have the extra ability? It's basically the equivalent of Scalehide now. Maybe this is just a bug, since Devilsaurs, for example, kept their "Feast" Exotic Ability.
Updated: Several people are saying on the hunter Discord (Trueshot Lodge), that the Clefthoof won't get their Exotic ability back until level 60. If that is true:
1) Four out of twelve of our Exotic families have had their Exotic ability removed/level-gated. That's odd and deserves a post from Blizzard in the documented changes.
2) The pet tab of the spell book for the Clefthoof (and the other three) should reflect this the way it does for character abilities. It does not. This is terrible design. Blizzard must believe that the Blood of the Rhino ability is way OP. Give a weaker version of it to begin with and then upgrade it at lvl 60, and apply the same model to all of the Exotic Abilities on all of the other Exotic pets. Don't make weird outlier Exotics like this.
And for pete's sake, at a minimum, put it in the spellbook to avoid confusion.
The four families that are missing their Exotic abilities are:
Aqiri
Clefthooves
Perrordaxes
Shale BeastsSo far, Carapids, Chimaeras, Core Hounds, Devilsaurs, Spirit Beasts, Stone Hounds, Water Striders and Worms still have their Exotic abilities.

More absolutely pointless time gating by Blizzard, having a little extra self healing for your pet during pre patch isn't gonna break the game. The only reason I wanted to play my Hunter was to use a Clefthoof with Aspect of the Beast.
Please make it so other pet types can get a similar ability to Blood of the Rhino. Having to be pigeonholed into using a Clefthoof for solo content kinda sucks. Especially if you'd rather use others instead. Also it sucks that it's an Exotic Only ability. Not to mention also an Exotic only pet family.
