Heartbond Lupine

[item=190585] is a protoform synthesis mount.

To collect this schematic you need to travel to Choral Residium Cave. Inside the cave you will find [npc=179939].
You need to kill it until [item=190585] drops. Chance is not high but there is no rule "omly-first-kill-on-day" works.
After bringing the schematic to Protoform Repository you will learn how to create [item=190580] mount.

To unlock protoform crafting:

Complete chapters 1,2 and 3 of Secrets of the First Ones zone campaign.
Research [order-advancement=1931] and complete [storyline=1285] questlines.
After daily reset complete The Lost Component + A New Architect quests to unlock [spell=366367].
Complete Protoform Synthesis quest to unlock [spell=366368]

To get the Heartbond Lupine you need to have unlocked the Sopranian Understanding node in the Daelic column of the cypher. After you unlock this a quest appears on the map you will need to complete to unlock the Protoform synthesis (mount maker). Once you've done this, the schematics for all of the mounts will now be obtainable.

You get the schematic by killing the Maw Frenzied Lupine at /way 51.9 62.9

The drop rate seems really high, it took me 3 kills and 2 kills on my two characters.

Once you've obtained this you will also need to get:

1x Lupine Lattice (kill wolves/lupine in Zereth Mortis or buy on the auction house).
1x Crystallized Echo of the First Song (Go to waterfalls near the Sepulcher raid and look for a gold crystal with music notes floating around it).
500x Genesis Motes (killing most creatures in Zereth Mortis will often drop these)

Once you're done, go back to where you craft the mounts and you will have a flying wolf mount mount

The idle animation in flying mode is awkward as, looks as though it’s doggy paddling through water :/ disappointing on a otherwise decent looking mount.
