Sundancer

Sundancer is a rare elite that spawns around 61,80 in Bastion and has a chance (per character per day) to drop this mount. Unlike typical rare elites, you cannot attack him outright. You need to use the [item=180445] to glide and catch him, tame him, and then defeat him in a challenge (your group need about 10k+ DPS) while wearing the shrine buff [spell=332309].

Part I: Be prepared

2. For each level-capped character, have at least one [item=180445] ready in bag. You can buy it from the AH or craft it yourself via Kyrian's Ascension Crafting.
3. 
   
4. For each level-capped character, have the tank or healer specs setup and ready. The Sundancer "hits" pretty hard when you are riding him, so at level 60, minimally you need some healing potions.

6. For idling characters, log off at the 60,94 shrine in Bastion, so when you server hop, you can readily get the [spell=332309] buff from the shrine.

Part II: Camping for the Sundancer

1. 
   
2. The routing is simple. Get the [spell=332309] buff from the Ancient Memorial at the shrine in Bastion 60,94. The buff looks like a golden orb circling around you. Each buff lasts 30 minutes.

4. Then fly north, following the shoreline towards the Temple of Purity at 61,80, and look for the Sundancer.
5. 
   
6. The Sundancer appears as a rare elite star on your map, and as a shiny golden flying horse in person.
7. 
   
8. You can camp around 61,80 while queuing for BGs, arenas, LFRs, and random heroics.
9. 
   
10. You can also server hop every now and then, because he appears to spawn on different timers on different realms.

Part III: When you see the Sundancer having spawned

1. 
   
2. List a group looking for more people on Premade Groups -> Custom: Sundancer up.
3. 
   
4. Let people know in the Bastion - General chat channel that the Sundancer is up and will be landing at 60,94.
5. 
   
6. Get on your flying mount, fly in, position yourself vertically above the Sundancer, dismount, use [item=180445], and spam right-clicks on the Sundancer.

8. Once you are on the Sundancer, spam left-clicks on the extra action button (Soothe), and use defensive cooldowns and self-healing to stay alive.
9. 
   
10. After being tamed by you, the Sundancer will take you to the shrine at 60,94.

12. Speak to the Sundancer, and challenge him within ~5 minutes. If you don't have enough people nearby, you may still have to just challenge him and start the fight in 3~4 minutes. Otherwise he will walk away and disappear in ~5 minutes.

14. It's about ~10% chance of getting the mount, per character per day.

4 days still no spawn

The guide below is correct. Don't be like me and just try and r.click on the rare to mount it. I simply fell off and died 5 X. Got to AH and buy Skystrider Glider. Currently $300 on my server (not sure if Goblin Glider also works). Then get the buff from the shrine, as mentioned. Dropped mount for me immediately.
