At the current time, this mount comes from the new 12 month subscription option. For some reason, they don't emphasize this, but this IS a flying mount!

Previous 6-month subscription mounts have been added to the shop to be able to purchase after it is no longer available from the subscription, so they might do the same with the two new mounts that they added for the 12 month subscription. (The other one is the Gargantuan Grrloc.) I only mention that because you can technically save up gold in game and buy the tokens to add to your battle.net balance and then buy the mount from the shop if they make it available. The subscription requires the amount to be paid immediately when you sign up for it, even if you still have time left on your account, so it's hard to want to take that leap at a high price if you still have time available! The promotion for the mounts with the 12 month subscription is currently available through January 15, 2023.

The Nov 15 patch seems to have introduced a visual bug to this mount. When flying, and at maximum zoom distance, black geometric gaps appear in the mount's glowing blue backside. These go away when I zoom in.

It is now 10.2 and the graphical/visual bug that has plagued this mount (as mentioned by Pyrianis) still remains unfixed by Blizz. Considering this is a cash shop/promo mount, it makes it even more of a slap in the face.

Edit: At long last, after around a YEAR, this bug has finally been fixed as of 10.2.5.
