Where These Pieces Drop
8 of this set's 37 pieces drop from 7 encounters in 3 instances. The rest come from vendors, quests, crafting or world drops, which the dungeon journal does not record.
7 bosses in Heart of Fear, Mogu'shan Vaults and Terrace of Endless Spring drop pieces of this set. Each instance below carries its Adventure Guide entry, where its entrance is, and what each boss drops.
The Sha of Fear has corrupted the grand empress of the mantid. Her increasingly erratic and paranoid commands have driven the Klaxxi--the keepers of mantid culture--to take aggressive action. Because they are few in number, the Klaxxi are reluctantly willing to accept outside help in destroying the empress and purging their race of the sha's negative influence.
The entrance is in Dread Wastes at 38.7, 35.1 (/way #422 38.7 35.1).

Ta'yak is known for his patience and intelligence. In battle, he is a master at discovering his opponent's weaknesses and awaiting the perfect opportunity to strike. Ta'yak's skill with a blade is unmatched, and he cherishes imparting his martial knowledge on young mantid warriors.
Garalon drops 1 piece of this set (Chest) on 10 Player (Heroic) and 25 Player (Heroic). Adventure Guide map pin: 66.5, 16.8 on the Heart of Fear map. It may be time to reconsider stepping on bugs. Don't make fun of this hulking behemoth's tiny wings; that'll just make him angry.
Wind Lord Mel'jarak drops 1 piece of this set (Hands) on 10 Player (Heroic) and 25 Player (Heroic). Adventure Guide map pin: 66.6, 32.9 on the Heart of Fear map. Mel'jarak believes the mantid are superior to all other races, convinced that his kind cannot be defeated.
The mogu, proud of their supremacy, kept lengthy records of their accomplishments within a great complex of vaults. The construction of these vast chambers predate any pandaren written records, shrouding their depths in mystery. Rumors once circulated of a mighty army locked within; for this reason, the vaults were the first target of the ancient pandaren rebellion, and they have been sealed ever since the mogu empire was overthrown.
The entrance is in Kun-Lai Summit at 59.5, 39.3 (/way #379 59.5 39.3).
Mogu'shan Vaults entrance
Feng the Accursed drops 1 piece of this set (Waist) on 10 Player (Heroic) and 25 Player (Heroic). Adventure Guide map pin: 31.9, 32.9 on the Mogu'shan Vaults map. Long ago, Feng Shri was the Mogu'shan Vaults' caretaker, tasked with preserving the treasures kept within these shadowy halls. After years of faithful service, he was caught stealing from the shelves (although some say he was framed by a jealous underling) and the mogu ruler punished him with a fatal curse. The doomed spirit of Feng Shri has wandered the vaults ever since, communing with the shades of past mogu heroes and warlords.
Gara'jal the Spiritbinder drops 1 piece of this set (Shoulder) on 10 Player (Heroic) and 25 Player (Heroic). Adventure Guide map pin: 77.9, 34.5 on the Mogu'shan Vaults map. Gifted with dark talents and surrounded by a loyal cadre of Zandalar mystics, he has broken through the outer walls and will not rest until the vaults belong to him.
Hidden high in the mountains, the Terrace of Endless Spring is the sacred center of the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. Its peaceful fountains are said to have the power to heal and rejuvenate, but when the Sha of Fear attacked, many of the complex's guardians turned on each other in fits of terror.
