Got it today on my 678 demon hunter. I recommend going to Rexxar first and getting him out of the way and doing the left 2 zones last. The 10% damage buff from the NPC in the blacksmith building (left side of first area) really helps. The 400% sanity damage mask is a pain because it means you can't get hit by boss sanity draining mechanics or you'll probably die. The potion buffs also help so I recommend having a chart up of the bad / good potions. The +100 sanity recovery helps a lot when trying for 8 masks.

Reminder to people who see this comment and try to replicate it. The blacksmith NPC is not always there. It is random per run. Very good writeup otherwise.
Did it today on my 662 arms warrior.
Same as Nesthion, start with Rexxar side and check if blacksmith is up for +10% dmg buff (you can use a macro /tar Naros).
Also, use a weakaura for tracking internal CD on Gift of the Titans, it would help a lot to trigger when needed and not randomly (killing boars at Rexxar fight was key for me).
Practice your pulls and cooldowns use.
I did it without Soridormi.Good luck.
