Secrets of Skettis

For new and old players looking to get these items to get the achievement for the decor [item=258740], it requires digging them up using the profession Archeology. Everyone can learn it and it's easy to forget about for new and older players.

Archaeology 1-800 leveling and collecting strategies

Recently doing this for the Player housing furniture it gives you as a reward. It said the last thing I needed was the solar orb. I spent days doing archaeology and never found it. I looked at my completed and it said I did the solar orb in 2015. I began to suspect it was bugged.

Went on a fresh toon and did Arakkoa for about 3-4 digs before I found the solar orb. Could be luck, but I genuinely think it was bugged. This was frustrating to do because I had to manually dig around Draenor since I didn't have 700-800 archaeology to spend my completed artifacts on. The Arakkoa are definitely the rarest.

If you encounter something similar try making a new toon.

If you've come here to see why you haven't completed this achievement despite seeing that you've completed at least one of each artifact, chances are the one you completed was a Pristine version. Of which do not count towards this achievement.
