How to access this FoS:
This Feat of Strength is accessed by anyone who Unlocks the [building=161] Garrison Building.

The way it currently works is that once you have the [building=161] unlocked & built, you have the ability to queue into the Highmaul Coliseum instance. So its not an open world location and can not be watched by others.

THE PROBLEM:
The Highmaul Coliseum is not balanced AT ALL for PVP. Which means you will see the same thing that happens for the Darkmoon Faire Deathmatch and Gurubashi Area in Stranglethorn Vale, multiple parties of people zerging their way to this achievement OR groups selling this title for gold.

The Secret:
Every player you tag (just deal damage to) will give you a buff when they die, and gives 5% critical strike chance, 5% increased damage, and 5% movement speed. The buff stacks to 20, lasts for 10 minutes and resets its time after a new stack.

My Suggestion:
Make sure you pop at least 1 big defensive cooldown and run around the arena as fast as you can dealing damage to every player in the arena. Once you hit the majority of the players try to sit in a corner, or help someone that has low health and make it a 1v2 and just play safe until there are about 4 or 5 people left.

The Last 5 Remaining:
This is a whole new fight. Make sure you choose who you kill and who you can help. Any class with self healing, a deathknight or hunter will have an advantage. Try to make an ally for the last 5 by helping one of them.

BUG?:
Currently, the last 2 standing get the achievement "The Last of Us" but only first place may loot the chest everyone has a chance to loot the chest, so be quick.

It took me about 4 hours to get this achieve and figure out a strategy. Just keep trying and learn the arena because I have seen every class win besides maybe a mage ( I was on my warrior ).

Good luck, happy hunting.

The Ins and Outs of Winning the Highmaul Coliseum - Part 2 of 2

Surviving

After you tag everyone, or at least as many as you can, hang back from the fight. A ranged again has an advantage here; you can kite a bit, help finish off a few players, and get away from unwanted attention. Once there's a handful of players left--5-7, about--you'll want to try to make yourself as unobtrusive as possible.

If you are a night elf, now's the time to get against the wall and shadowmeld. Note that stealth will not fully hide you; stealth, shadowmeld and camouflage can still be seen through, to prevent people from literally hiding the entire match. Still, in the chaos of a 10-20-man free-for-all, not being a hugely visible target has a high likelihood of saving your butt.

Save your cooldowns as long as you can, but don't risk death--heal if you need to. If you're a mage you can use your first ice block early if you're focused, but make sure to get out of the way before doing it; chances are your attackers will turn on each other or on others, giving you time to heal up and then get away, backing out of the fight once more. Note that you CANNOT get out of combat to eat in here, so use any self-heals, healing items, bandages, etc. that you can. Keep yourself as high as possible on HP as well--a low HP target is a good target for people to quickly finish off for additional buff stacks and removal of a potentially dangerous opponent.

In regards to the quest, each player you out-live will grant credit toward your 100 players "killed." I have heard conflicting reports of whether you need to tag them to get credit--I don't think you do, but when aiming for a win it's best to tag as much as you can anyway.

The Final Stretch

Stay out of combat, and tag who you can--but if you see someone who'll be a huge thorn in your side in the brawl, help take them out. Use as much range as your class is capable of. But the last thing you want is to be stuck 1v1 against a class counter who'll give you hell. A good example is a ret, or a healer who can put out decent damage; the latter is particularly important if you're a class with low/no selfheals. 4-5 players remaining is a good time to do this. Then, hide again.

The Kill

Generally, the last few players fighting will either turn on one another, or they'll all turn on you--far more likely if you have a high stack of the buff, or if you're a high-priority target like a healer or a ret. You'll need to get lucky, at this point, and this is generally where you'll lose, if you do lose.

Any remaining death knights or rets might spot you, tunnel you, and it's over. At the moment a frost death knight or a skilled hunter will take out a target in the Coliseum -very- quickly, given the total lack of line of sight blocks. It's a big, open field.

If you've managed to save most of your damage and defensive cooldowns; if the enemies have had to blow theirs; if you manage to avoid attention until you're 1v1 or 1v2 and you've got a high stack of the buff, then you have an excellent chance of winning regardless of your class. However, if you were forced into blowing cooldowns, and the other players focus you down, you'll have to just eat a loss and try again. A lot comes down to luck, and playing your cards right.

In my case, a couple of players were finishing off a teamed group, and I threw in my damage and then hung back. I had all cooldowns ready, and wound up in shadowmeld while a warrior and ret finished one another nearly off. This sort of situation is what you want, and is a near-certain win.

The Win

After killing the final other player in the arena, you will get the Feat of Strength achievement The Last of Us as well as the <Name, Lord of War> or <Name, Lord of War> title. This title is NOT account-wide.

Immediately upon winning, run toward the side where the ogre comes down. He'll put down a chest for you--at the moment, this is bugged so that the last -two- players can loot it, so get there and SPAM CLICK this with autoloot on! If you fail to loot it first, GMs will not restore the drops for you. Note that usually I've seen BOTH "last" men standing receive the FoS and achievement. I'm unsure if this is intentional.

From this chest, you will receive the [item=119219], a toy that lets you plant a Highmaul banner in a defeated opponent. I also received a Primal Gladiator's off-set item, so at least some of the epic PvP items are in the loot table as well.

Winning the arena will auto-complete the quest, regardless of how many players you've defeated. The quest itself states that it can be turned in at your Coliseum or at Highmaul. I had to go to Highmaul; the Garrison NPC did not have a ? and his dialogue made no mention of the quest. Turning in the quest will give you a factional version of the same toy, as well as 500 Conquest Points.

After completing the quest for the first time, you will then be locked out of rejoining, and a weekly version will become available. It also awards Conquest Points; it currently states 750 in the quest text, but the main reward of Conquest Points was currently dropped to 500 so this may be incorrect and not yet updated.

Good luck, and have fun!
