Would You Still /love Me if I Was a Worm...

On your way to the boss room you'll see this egg on the ground. This is where it is on the map if you're having trouble finding it.

One person needs to click the egg and bring it to the boss room. That person will be slowed while carrying it but can cast abilities like normal. We assume that dying with the egg will cause it to drop but we had ours carried by a tank so we don't know for sure. DK and shaman are strong as with all slowed movement speed achieves.

Once you pull the boss, you'll need to hit the egg carrier with 2 of the [spell=442526] debuffs at the same time. In Normal you only get 2 debuffs per set while in Heroic you get 4. While you can hit two sets of eggs and the person with the egg in Normal, we found it wasn't consistent so I'd recommend just having the 2 Dosage targets and the egg carrier stack on one set of eggs and then just heal through the burst of damage when the black blood rolls over an egg later in the fight.

Once you've done it right the egg will break and a [npc=225164] will spawn wherever you were standing. Everyone in the raid has to /love it and doing so will give you the [spell=452931] debuff to signal that you've done your part. Once everyone has the debuff the worm feels sufficiently loved and you can kill the boss.

It should also be noted that when the worm spawns and before the last person /loves it, it's an enemy mob and can be damaged and presumably killed. It only took us a few seconds to /love it but make sure you don't kill it by accident before you do. Also since you can't do emotes while dead everyone in the raid must be alive until the worm spawns.

The mob Disheartened Worm is hatched from an orange, interactable egg outside the boss room called Mysterious Glowing Egg. It must be hatched during the boss fight by having it hit by the Experimental Dosage ability, aka the 'transparent' purple circles that hatch other eggs in the raid if standing over them. The person holding the egg must be hit by two player's circles to hatch the egg.

The entire raid must then target and type /love to the worm, then kill the boss to complete the achievement. It seems you must have a full 10 man group or more, as testing this boss with a 4 man raid did not work. It also seems to sometimes fail to spawn the needed mob if players die before everyone's finished the /love chain, even if the dead player completed the /love themself.

The egg needed to hatch the worm does seem to reset with each boss despawn after a pull, so you can try this multiple times. It is best to /love the worm immediately as it will spam shadow damage until it is fully /loved. People who have successfully /loved the worm will get the debuff Affectionate, so you can track who is slacking in the raid.
