We did this with a group of ~660 ilvl, fairly experienced players. It took 12 pulls, but I think it will get easier with more gear. We messed around with comp a bit, but on our kill we had 2 tanks, 3 healers, and 10 dps.
Setup:
There are 4 coins located around the casino - you click them and bring them to the slot machines just outside Bandit's room. The 4 coins each give the boss a different buff:
- Red: this creates expanding fire rings in the room - similar to Smolderon or Silken Court ring mechanics.
- Blue: the boss intermittently silences all players. Unfortunately this is only a ground effect (blue electricity) and he has no cast bar - I could not find a way to make a WA that tracks it.
- Purple: All units within 12 yards of the boss have -80% healing and absorb reduction.
- Gold: boss has +50% HP and +50% damage. Including adds.
- You still get all of the normal mechanics.
You need to use all 4 at the same time for this achievement.Execution:
The Red, Blue, and Gold mechanics are pretty easy to understand, but obviously make the fight much more punishing. The trickiest part is the Purple mechanic. Bring mostly ranged dps for obvious reasons. We has almost all melee and losing uptime to get heals made us hit enrage a couple of times. The tanking is a bit tricky - both the tank buster "Big Hit" and his white attacks do +50% damage and you only get 20% normal healing. Our Blood DKs simply didn't have enough mitigation, but we had success with a VDH and Bear. You could use 3 tanks but we found 2 tanking was simpler. You basically just can't tank all of his white swings leading up to the Big Hit, so we were "double taunt swapping" - looks something like this:
- tank 1 takes the white hits
- tank 2 taunts to take the Big Hit, tank 1 runs out for healing
- tank 1 taunts back so tank 2 can drop the pool and get healed
- tank 2 taunts again to tank the white hits, tank 1 runs out for healing
- tank 1 taunts to take the Big Hit.
- Repeat.
We messed up this taunt system a few times leading to one of us taking several auto attacks before the tank buster - sometimes we could live, but having abilities like guardian angel (hpriest), last resort (VDH), and bres available for tanks is recommended. Ret paladins or other immunity classes can theoretically taunt-bubble if needed, but we didn't need this.

Currently, if you can get a ~670+ group going, this has become trivial. Tanks can rotate cds quite okay and stay alive, just melee needs to watch out a bit and obviously don't make unnecessary mistakes. 671, 2 4 12, nobody died.
If you're an Unholy DK, a build with Clawing Shadows will give you extra breathing room for the heal reduction.
