You Have Been Challenged

after seeing this in the guild achievements i asked around how this was earned and nobody seemed to know.

I did some research regarding guild challenges and found a wealth of information about it here

-The following ifnormation is found on the far right of the guild interface the 'Info' tab-

There is 3 Types of Guild Challenges

1) Dungeon Challenge

2) Raid Challenge

3) Battleground Challenge

To complete a Dungeon Challenge you must complete

1 Dungeon with at least 3 guild members in the group
Rewards 300k guild experience and 125g deposited into the guild bank
Limited to 7 a week

Raid Challenge

Kill a raid boss with 8/10 raid members in the guild
Or
Kill a raid boss on 25 player mode with 20/25 raid members in the guild

Rewards
3000k guild exp
500g deposited into the guild bank

limit of 1 a week

Rated Battleground

Win a rated battleground

Rewards
1500k guild exp
250g deposited into the guild bank

limit of 3 per week

This experience is in addition to the guild exp cap

If you are capped for guild experience you will be rewarded this beyond the cap

This is probably the most fun guild achievement I've done yet - my "guild" is just myself and my partner (we each have 2 accounts so can get 3 in a group for credit, but we're basically duoing everything with maybe an extra class buff or two added), and since I wasn't sure exactly where the boundaries on level appropriateness were, it seemed best to run a lvl 80 place with 3 lvl 80s. Downside to that being we didn't have a healer or even a caster specced hybrid at that lvl, nor were we high-end raid-geared. So, a tankadin, a bear (both ilvl 230-235ish) and a green-geared warlock on follow with the imp out went to Heroic Nexus. And, amazingly, completed it with a few deaths on bosses but no total wipes, and my paladin having learned a lot about using class abilities to the max for dmg mitigation and healing. Now that's what I call a challenge, very glad this achievement prompted us to give it a shot!
