OnTopic: You can level your fishing in any type of water regarding of the zone. I did 525 to 600 in Stormwind exactly when MOP hit. Expect around 1h 30 minutes of angling.

OffTopic: On Stormreaver (EU) I was 597 when Server first hit. Hopefully somebody will smack me over the head and remember me to have the +2 Quest finished beforehand. Still a nice try.

Thought I'd would throw a great way to level fishing around Pandaria is by camping out the spawn for the Ghostly Fisherman. If you have around 400 fishing, (I started Pandarian fishing at 400 w/a +20 pole and +100 lures) you will catch about 1/2-3/4 open water fish and the rest junk. This way, you pass the time camping for a spawn that net's a great fishing item, round up a lot of fish to sell on the AH to people looking to power level cooking via Tillers, and you are also able to keep an eye out for Galleon's spawn yell. Way better then watching trade chat trolls in Stormwind/Orgrimmar to pass the time.
