Baiting the Enemy

These can be fished from [object=293750] that spawns at the following coordinates in Dazar'alor:

43:42
42:44 - For these two spawns, If you're Horde like I am, go ask one of the guards to point you in the direction of the Alchemy or Inscription trainer, and go north from there.

(Will update if I find any other spawn points - I will update this when I personally verify them).

I am yet to find a use for these fish other than vendortrash, but if you are a member of the Alliance, you need to fish one of these up for Baiting the Enemy .

As one can likely imagine, this is basically Old Crafty 2.0 - Far, FAR harder, due to the following reasons:

• These are only fishable from pools. Given that they're 50g, Horde people may snag these whenever they're up for what's effectively free money.
• 
  
• As of time of writing, no flight. this means that a stealthy approach is all but required at this point, because if you bring enough buddies to break your way through, you'll likely make enough noise for players to start getting involved, and a lot of Horde will likely have no compunctions beating you to death with your own fishing rod if you don't disable War Mode.
• 
  
• The area you need to fish them is very close to the center of the city, and in the Crafter's Terrace - You can expect heavy resistance from players and NPCs alike (Again, only if you have War Mode on). Of particular note is a [npc=120802], specially programmed to patrol up and down the area and to atomise any Alliance that it detects.

If you want to go for this one, allow me to make a suggestion: Grab the [item=133755] and level it up enough to unlock [spell=201952]. This will make it notably harder for the wandering Guardian to notice you. In regards to the players, as stated, you can switch War Mode off. If for whatever reason you want to do it with Warmode on, there is a large amount of plant life nearby that you can nestle yourself into. If you need to wait, tuck yourself into those plants, sit down, and remove your title so people don't notice letters peeking through the leaves.

I can confirm that Midnight Salmon allow you to teleport into the pool if it's up which could allow you to slip into the nearby bushes and start fishing. Be duly warned, however, that the Salmon does not prioritise this fishing spot over any others, so if another's in range you might land in that one instead.

Happy fishing to both Horde and Alliance. If I ever see any Alliance doing this, I will leave you be, as I know it's hard enough to fish without a highly incompetent mage trying to interfere.

Sorry to disagree, but this is not at all difficult. In fact it is incredibly easy.

The fish can only be caught in a pool. If the pool is up, then there is a 100% chance of catching the fish. If the pool isn't up then don't bother to cast.

So, fly to the spot (I am druid but didn't bother with stealth). If the pool of fish is there, cast and catch. That's it.

The pool is in a little pond in the garden by the steps, not in the creek nearby. Go to the exact coordinates 43 42.

For Alliance, an alternative way to get to 42.83,41.84 (one of the confirmed spawn points of the [object=293750]) is to use a Goblin Glider Kit.

Follow the steps:

2. Travel to coordinates 49.25 41.55 (/way 49.25 41.55). This is the topmost portion of the Temple of the Prophet I could reach.
3. 
   
4. Jump off in a western direction towards 42.83 41.84 (/way 42.83 41.84) and deploy your Goblin Glider Kit. Make sure to really jump as the flight is quite tight
5. 
   
6. Guide your glider towards the the waypoint, you'll probably need to avoid the one tree but the rest should be smooth

Once you land, quickly hide on of the sides of the chairs hugging the wall and wait for one of the pools to spawn on either side.

I had to wait about 15-20 minutes for the pool to spawn.
