Just south of the once beautiful elven kingdom of Quel'Thalas, the eerie Ghostlands beckon brave adventurers, daring them to enter the Amani stronghold of Zul'Aman.
Storm Zul’Aman and Confront Zul’jin
For millennia, Zul'Aman has stood as the Amani trolls' seat of power and the bastion of their fearless, cunning warlord, Zul'jin. Behind its walls, he has spent years plotting his vengeance.
There, Zul’jin seeks to seal the power of the animal gods within the tribe’s strongest warriors. Enter the stronghold, defeat the devious warlord, and stop him from exacting his deadly vengeance.
Raid bosses: Nalorakk, Akil'zon, Jan'alai, Halazzi, Hex Lord Malacrass, and Zul'jin Level: 70 Location: Ghostlands, Eastern Kingdoms Good to Know: No attunement is required to enter the instance. Zul’Aman has a 3-day reset lockout.
Gather nine of your staunchest allies and brave the dangers at the heart of Zul’Aman to claim the stronghold’s treasures.
Furious at the Horde for allowing his hated enemies, the blood elves, to join its ranks, Zul’jin eagerly embraced the witch doctor Malacrass’s scheme. Will time be on your side as you battle through Zul’Aman and bring their plan to an end?
Race the Clock to Claim the Amani War Bear
Zul’jin and his lieutenants are holding several hostages in Zul’Aman. As soon as you and your raid breach the gates, the Amani will begin preparing to execute them.
Rescue all the hostages before time runs out, and your raid will earn the rare Amani War Bear battle mount.
Each time you defeat one of Zul’jin’s lieutenants and rescue a hostage, you will earn additional loot and extend the timer, giving your raid more time to rescue the remaining hostages.
Beyond Zul’Aman
- Doomlord Kazzak and Doomwalker are now more eager to share their spoils. Their loot is now Bind on Equip (from Bind on Pickup).
- The Battle for Mount Hyjal and The Black Temple will no longer require attunement to enter.
- The reputation requirement to purchase Heroic dungeon keys has been reduced to Honored.
- All Heroic dungeons will be adjusted to their final, reduced difficulty state.
Badges of Justice
The following bosses can now drop Badges of Justice, giving you more opportunities to obtain this valuable currency:
- Doomlord Kazzak and Doomwalker
- All bosses in Karazhan, Gruul's Lair, and Magtheridon's Lair
- All bosses in Serpentshrine Cavern and Tempest Keep
- All bosses in Zul'Aman
In addition, G’eras in Shattrath now offers more powerful wares in exchange for Badges of Justice, including Nether Vortex.
Epic Gem Updates
Magtheridon’s Black Sack of Gems and Jewelcrafter’s Brilliant Glass can now contain epic gems. Please note that existing Brilliant Glasses and previously looted, unopened Black Sack of Gems will not contain epic gems.
Additional Updates
- Outland faction vendors will offer Leatherworking recipes for Greater Drums, Knothide Quiver, and Knothide Ammo Pouch.
- Primal Nether and Nether Vortex will no longer be soulbound.
Zul'Aman's army grows stronger by the day, driven by its hunger for vengeance in Zul'jin’s name. Enter the stronghold and put an end to his plans.
