Alonsus Faol

Once you arrive at the Sunwell for Meet at the Sunwell, you can speak to Alonsus Faol and [npc=237273].

When you click Alonsus Faol, he will say:

I haven't been this close to the Sunwell since before...

If you choose the dialogue option, "You can't go closer, can you?", he will then say:

We undead have a complex relationship with the Light, I more than most.

The Light burns me. I have learned to endure its pain and still practice as a priest, but having been Archbishop for years, the Light resonates with me more than others.

The Sunwell is no exception. Out here, it's a constant searing sensation--intense, but manageable.

If I were to go inside, though, I would be consumed by the Light as surely as a flame consumes a moth.

When you click [npc=237273], he will say:

<NAME>.

Forgive me... I'm not feeling much like conversation right now.

If you choose the dialogue option, "Because your father...", he will then say:

It's not just that, though that's enough.

I've always tried to be a hero. Successfully. They even called me Arator the Redeemer.

Charging in with a sword, using the Light to...

I'm not sure the Light itself is as clear or as simple as I had understood it to be.

Yet while I ponder this, the Void encroaches.

So I suppose I will lean on Faol for direction until I find my footing.

Or at least can see the ground again.
