Overview
The fallen Cenarius periodically creates Nightmare Seeds, which germinate for a short duration and then summon an Ally of Nightmare that must be defeated. Malfurion aids in the battle and cleanses the Nightmare Seed with the largest number of nearby players, purifying that Ally so that it instead helps the raid.
Damage Dealers
- Interrupt Twisted Touch of Life cast by the Twisted Sister.
- Defeat the Rotten Drakes before Nightmare Buffet becomes lethal.
- Use Malfurion's Cleansed Ground to avoid damage from Creeping Nightmares.
- Malfurion's Cleansed Ground fully clears stacks of Creeping Nightmares from any players near the chosen target.
Healers
- The Nightmare Drake's Nightmare Buffet deals heavy raid damage.
- Use Malfurion's Cleansed Ground to avoid damage from Creeping Nightmares.
- Malfurion's Cleansed Ground fully clears stacks of Creeping Nightmares from any players near the chosen target.
Tanks

On Heroic and Mythic Difficulty, Aura of Dread Thorns affects all enemies within 30 yards. On Raid Finder and Normal Difficulty, Aura of Dread Thorns affects all enemies within 20 yards.

On Mythic difficulty, existing Allies of Nature are corrupted by Cenarius and fall to the Nightmare, assaulting all nearby players.

Forces of Nightmare will spawn after a short duration if not Cleansed. Players can signal Malfurion to Cleanse the ground near an Ally of Nightmare by being near the location that it is being summoned at. Malfurion will choose to cast Cleansing Ground on the Ally of Nightmare with the most players near it.
Corrupted Wisp
Many Corrupted Wisps will spawn around the edge of the room if the Tormented Souls are not Cleansed.
Nightmare Ancient
A Nightmare Ancient will spawn under the Corrupted Sapling if it is not cleansed.
Rotten Drake
A Rotten Drake will spawn from the Corrupted Emerald Egg if it is not cleansed.
Twisted Sister
A Twisted Sister will spawn from the Corrupted Nature if it is not cleansed.
Allies of Nature
Allies of Nature will spawn after a short duration once Cleansed by Malfurion's Cleansing Ground.
Wisp
Many Wisps will spawn around the edge of the room if the Tormented Souls are Cleansed.
Cleansed Ancient
A Cleansed Ancient will spawn from the Sapling if it is cleansed.
Emerald Drake

The Cenarius encounter lists 14 items in the dungeon journal, item level 50. Equip slots covered: Feet, Head, Back, Hands, Waist, Chest, Trinket and Shoulder. Every piece binds when picked up, so none of it reaches the Auction House.
