Arcane Crystal Module

So far in LFR's I've only been able to get 3 out of 4 of the regents which has always dropped as a group. Have yet to see the arcane crystal focusing lens drop. So I'd advise against buying them off the AH unless you already got the lens.

Not true @monto. I got one part in LFR then another in normal raid. I have people who have seen multiple parts in multiple bosses (same raid type).

I would assume monto meant you can only get the drop from a specific boss if it's the first time you killed that boss this week. So you can get a drop from Oregorger, then Gruul, but you won't get a second drop from Gruul until next week. It would be useful to know if you can get one from LFR Gruul then another from Normal Gruul in the same week though.

So I have quick question if I can pick all this stuff up in raids I Have a mage which is obviously only dps lvl 100 and a druid lvl 100 who is feral/resto but I have a dk lvl 95 that is blood/frost and can tank and get insta ques so do these items have to be from lvl 100 dranoer dungeons like heroics or can they just be from any normal dungeon and it doesn't matter what the toon lvl is because I want to make this ah for my main which is my mage and I have a lot of gold I bought one piece that was 750 but the Arcane Crystal Module complete bull$%^& it is like 28000 gold like ha no way

The prices are simply outrageous for these items, at least on my server. Is that thing really worth THAT much? Id rather keep seeing laying dead on my floor than spending that much gold to rez it.

The universal language pieces are 15k each and the module about 60k on Feathermoon/Scarlet Crusade. What kind of drugs do folks think I'm taking and who in the world would pay that kind of money for something so silly?

very helpful! If you want to be lazy and AH it, then I suggest looking for each piece individually and keeping an eye on it. Weekends is when you'll find prices cheapest.

Buying the parts individually (i.e. Arcane Crystal Casing, Arcane Crystal Conduit, Arcane Crystal Amplifier, Arcane Crystal Focusing Lens) on the AH appears to be wildly less expensive than buying the module itself (i.e. Arcane Crystal Module).

The price that some of the more common parts go for is silly cheap. However, the parts that are more rare, as are the parts found in stupid PvP area, Ashran, is utterly sick. Why force people into pvp when they are playing on a PVE server for a reason, ... they do NOT like PvP. Having greedy people out to make money from the unfortunate really sucks.

I have to say, after farming for the 3 ashran parts (I DETEST pvp by the way) I can see why they charge so much for these on the AH. It took 4 days of farming for 3-4 hours at a time for a single piece to drop for me all while dealing with getting killed here and there by pvpers. The other pieces came a little quicker but it was still a long grind just for 3 parts for a robot. And I have an alt with the quest too. not sure if i'll do that again.

The parts for the Auction Control Module can drop from normal dungeons. I farm them on the regular for easy gold. In fact I had it set to heroic to test if the drop rate was any better. I did every single dungeon on heroic and no drops at all. I did 3 runs of normal sky reach and I got 5 parts. The drop rate is far more significant on normal dungeons because they are so easy to spam. Sky reach being the easiest to spam especially if you have a mage. Edit: These will only drop if the character you are using has a level 2 Trading Post

Since there only down grading your question and not answering it. Ill give ya a plus 1 and an answer. Raids dude only raids and an invasion. yes of course end game items are always that maximum level to get item. And no not that lv93 invasion either. Answer the question people. this site does allow people asking questions as well no matter if you think its a waste or not. So go ahead and negative me all the while thinking your not the newb here.

The pieces are not soulbound. So weather you buy them on the AH or you can get them to drop, you can mail them to your main so that it can complete the quest. Just my two cents.

Ive yet to ever receive focuser from any raids. Only got it from invasion. can anyone verify if they ever got focuser from an lfr or other raid. thanks. kay

Even separate those parts are a hassle to acquire. Hunting them is time consuming and buying them is expensive. Over 100k for total parts to complete the garrison AH on Arathor.

As of either Legion or BfA, I believe the Universal Language Module has been dropped from the requirements for this quest. It is not listed as a component for the quest at least.

Aarrgghh, I literally had every part but didn't build it because it was the end of the expansion. Who knew we'd want it back 3 expansions later? And the worst ones to get are those from garrison invasions. Sorry, I'm just venting!

@catbaloo Because everything is located within minimal walking distance. Shops with needed profession tools like a forge, Bank, Guild Bank, Tmog, local Vendors. Garden and Mine for passive income. Portals around Draenor. A second hearth stone. An AH makes it the perfect hub. I hope Blizzard never retires the garrison.
