How WoW PvP title cutoffs work
At the end of every PvP season Blizzard hands out titles based on where your rating finished relative to everyone else. The two that need a current cutoff are the prestige ones: Rank 1 (the gladiator-mount title, awarded to the very top fraction of the ladder in each bracket) and Gladiator (the top tier of 3v3 players who also win enough games). Because they are awarded by percentage of the ladder, the rating you need is not fixed - it drifts up and down all season as players climb and the ladder fills.
