Doomforged Straightedge

My rogue used this until the mid 50's. It is perfect for a combat sword rogue in the offhand. Great stats for damage boosting and a fast speed for poisons. Sadly since TBC has come out, my server's AH is bare of most blue items below level 60. Consider yourself lucky to see one for sale or own one.

amazing off-hand for lvl 49 rogue, my twink is speccd hemo, and with this +15 agility it provides a nice 37 AP to buff my overall damage and hemo damage to make up the diff. between hemo and SS

Not that great for a warrior as it is too fast (even for off-hand) and looses too much damage from whirlwind. Best option would be duel wielding 2 http://www.wowhead.com/?item=12527

Dropped for me in BRD. Awesome as an offhand-sword for a CB Sword rogue.

Does this weapon sheath on back or hips? I play on RPPVP realm so im trying to find a sword that sheath on back and has model of katana.

This weapon will be amazing for my pally when I get it. I do a lot of AOE farming, so this weapon is perfect. A fast speed so that Seal of Wisdom procs more often (can be hard to keep up mana when you are doing consecrate constantly) and a total of 32 attack power (10 str=20 AP + 12ap) which contributes to the damage of my Consecrate. Can't wait to get it!

It also has a perfect speed for Reckoning (2.0 or faster) and great DPS.

If you have Divine Strength fully talented, that's 34-35AP (not sure if it is rounded down or up).

[b]Gar Doomforge[/b] was the name of a Mountain King random hero in Warcraft 3. I can't say it's a coincidence that this item happens to drop from a dungeon centered around Dwarves.

Despite very low drop rates, I got one of these today while farming Overmaster Pyron for the tailoring pattern. Needless to say, its a tough decision to sell or use on my Alliance CB Rogue.

I guess the moral is, if you want this weapon, hammer Pyron till you can't stand it any longer.

EDIT: It seems Overmaster Pyron's drop table no longer contains this weapon. I am 111% certain he dropped it. I listed this beautiful weapon every day for many months on BOTH Horde and Alliance AHs (on my dead server) for 2000-2500 gold. It never sold.

So my tough decision is easier...its now in the hands of my NElf Fury Warrior, and I transmog any swords I get into this immediately.

Not sure why I'm being downvoted for accurate information. It dropped in BRD from a pack of dogs and/or Avilrage dwarves.

Just picked one of these up today inside BRD while doing Lunarfest Elders, I killed a pack of dogs and a couple Anvilrage dwarves just after the dungeon entrance with my multi-shot because they were literally right where I wanted to run through and looted this, so I'm not totally sure which mob it actually dropped from, but it is in there somewhere :D

Just dropped from a random Grim Guzzler patron/guzzler.
