Harpyclaw Short Bow

A nice solid-damage bow for level 27 and beyond. This bow can pull its weight for quite some time over other bows available.

This Bow is well made for Minor Haste-Glove Enchant and 5/5 Improved Aspect of the Hawk. By the time you can use it, you'll have 2 thousand Arrows. That's if your not like me and carry 2 quivers :) Large Bags and frequient stops at a Vendor are the downside of this pratice. Don't forget a throwing Wep, just in case of Ammo shortages.

According to the description of the talent "Improved Aspect of the Hawk" it sounds like it is a flat 10% chance on any normal auto-shot, as opposed to a certain number of times per minute. That might make this bow an excellent choice for a 29 twink with that talent. From what I can tell from other posts (although I don't have have proof) IAotH and Rapid Fire should stack making this extremely fast. Nice way to shut down a caster.

Great DPS at this level and works great with IAOH. inefficient on arrows :(

bought it for my 29 twink hunter just to test it out. beautiful bow. deals loads of small hits. (my personal preference) and also with rapid fire, in a bg i can kill any leather and cloth twinks within a few seconds. =)

Twinks not existing...lol Do you live in a dream? Plus no point crying over twinks. If you can get to 80 and pickup BoAs you can gear your alts just as well. The problem is most people are bad and horrible at working together so no matter what they do they die. Then they blame twinks for their issue. Twinks weren't the problem. Bad players have and always will be the problem. About this bow. It still lasts a good while unless you have the BoA one, of course. Then you sell it and make a decent amount of gold. But if you're a twink there's almost no excuse. Make a DK. Level it to 8

I thought twink doesn't exit anymore after WotLK expansion or was it after patch 3.3?

My third world drop. I'm not sure if I should sell it or make a hunter just to use the bow.

The Harpyclaw won't xmog - use it for your low level hunter.
