Assassination Blade

I bought this off the AH for around 80g, but it is a world drop of of all mobs from the lower 50s to 60.

At the level this is available to you, you are much better off waiting until ZG or MC, even if this is a world drop. The cash is so much more worthwhile than its short-term use.

This sword is the number 1 ebayer/farmer form of ID. If you use it and are close to 60, you've either wasted some gold, need to L2P, or both.

at 1 level lower you can get a krol blade which is a better epic, it will run you x2 the price but is well worth it. this is a good offhand for krolbade though :P

Yes, Teebu's Blazing Longsword is better http://www.wowhead.com/?item=1728. The bad thing about is,it is a very rare world drop, drops from random lvl 60 elite mobs, you shouldn't try to get it, because if you see it at AH the price won't be less than 3000g. It is better but almost impossible to get.

teebu's also requires level 60.

Dropped off a deadwood mob in Felwood. I cant remember the name, but it was white, unlike the deadwood avenger's & den watcher's.

It's a good sword for it's level. I wouldn't suggest buying it, but if one happens to drop for you I'd highly recommend using it, unless you're short on money for your epic ground mount.

common mistake. if it drops and you equip it your essentially "buying" it because your not selling it and thus, preventing yourself from getting that amount of gold. in both cases your losing the gold the sword costs.

Extremely good Rogue sword but I agree with the other comments that it is hard to justify the cost with Outland only seven levels away. If you have unlimited funds though and want to make leveling as fast as possible then you can't go wrong with one of these bad boys...

I got this off an Anguished Highborne, third kill of the day. I think they need to change their drop tables lol.

IF you have unlimited funds and there's Krol Blade get that instead.

Thanks for the info on all the katanas, but the "handle" is called a hilt.

this weapon, unfortunately, does not sheathe on your back as an undead Rogue, if you were looking for that specific look for a sheathed katana. :(

I have just seen a monk with heirloom sword and mace xmogged to this, it seems although the sword itself won't sheath to the back, it does if the heirlooms do.

All weapons monks use go on the back.
