Blade of the Titans

Bought out this sword on Blackrock for 13 gold. WARNING: Enchants look horrible on it. (If looks is what you're going for :P)

This short, but fat sword is very good for warriors because of its stats. However, it has no equipped bonuses. The reason it doesn't look good with enchants is because it is already bright orange, so many enchants will not be very strong on it. Brutal Gladiator's Decapitator has more of a carpet beater look to it, to be precise. Call me a phillistine but tt all makes me wonder whatever was so wrong with good old-fashioned straight blades and large spikes.

I think this sword is really nice, nice stats for warrior or retribution pally. I found one in Felwood from one of those timbermaw type mobs, sold it for 50g so was well pleased.

I am so psyched I have had two of these drop today one when I was running ST and the other off a random mob

dropped by a slime in un' goro. at that moment i had the AV polearm so there was no chance i was going for this blade, but the one i had before, ex. cleaver or someting :S would be a nice duel.... hard choice there but i probly would pick ex. cleaver ( buyed it out for 45 gold ) http://www.wowhead.com/?item=13018 umm and how much is this blade worth :S ?

Great sword for the 40-49 pvp bracket if you don't have money for Kang or Taran Icebreaker, or preffer swords.

why is it that every warrior with Warmonger and every warrior with Blade of the Titans magically find themselves and team up for quests? I've never seen 1 without the other. Oh well, anyways it's a really good sword and it looks cool too.

It looks like it's made of cheese. I want to put it in between two pieces of bread and grill it with butter.

Not too bad for an Arms Warrior, I got this at 45 and am still using it ten lvls later. (mainly because my battlegroup can never seem to win AV matches though)

I'm going to dual-wield these on my warrior, just to be holding the blade of titans in my grip of the titans.

It also kicks quite a bit of ass for a retri paladin.

Best place to farm this (if your crazy enough) would be in the SSW part of Felwood. Or at least that my opinion. Sold it for 200g, had a buyout in less than 10min.

This is a world drop, there is no "best place" to farm this except in level appropriate zones (lvl 45-52).

So where's the other half?

You should also enchant this with [item=41976 domain=www] for triple "titan"-effect.

I don't see how Kalimdor's Revenge could be one half of a sword, since it is a complete sword allready.

After this dropped out of an emerald encrusted chest from the Draneitheist quest in Blasted Lands, I sold it for 5k on my AH in less than 12 hours; HIGHLY desirable transmog item!

if you have some running / flying time to spare i found that the best way to get this is to go around around tanaris and sillithis looking for silken treasure chests! i found it on my 2nd box in tanaris! i haven't decided if i want to sell it or keep it considering my server its going up for 300g minimum . hope this helps the blade of the titans transmog fans get what they need!

How is that the best way to get it? Those chests have the same range of drop rates as the mobs. You just got lucky. Read up on random number generators. Someone else could open a thousand of those chests and never get it.

Nice for transmog - not common, and should fetch a decent sum on the AH due to its rarity.

Got this sucker running strath for the mount, dropped off a fleshflayer ghoul. These go for huge gold on AH, if u happen to get one....consider yourself lucky.

As there's currently no[i] same model as tab[/i] for this sword I'd like to add that it shares model with one other sword [item=1986]. Gutrender has a red color instead of yellow, but due to not dropping anymore Gutrender can be very hard to find and very expensive.

I was killing whelps in Blasted Lands while chatting to my friends on discord and said

"Man, sometimes I wish rare things would just drop instead of me having to farm them"

Of course referencing the dark whelping pet instead I got this...sword. I'm not sure how to feel.

Just go this today from a Silken Treasure Chest [url=https://www.wowhead.com/object=207512/silken-treasure-chest#contains;0-20-3+1][/url] in Thousand Needles at Splithoof Heights, chest was in one of the centaur raised tent/platforms shelters.

This dropped off an [url=https://wowhead.com/npc=5992]Ashmane Boar[/url] after 323 kills. Your best bet is to hunt chests if you want a more reliable method. Good luck!
