Drops from [npc=15552] on Alcaz Island, If you can't see him it's because your phased after completing the Theramore Scenario. You can visit Theramore as it used to be by going to the [npc=63546] at 55, 49.

This worked for me, can't believe I didn't consider this sooner and can't believe for how thorough MMOChamp is, they didn't have a little mention of this in their description =P thanks for this bit of gold!

Thanks, they should have fixed it so you see the new stuff after theramore was destroyed, and left the old stuff for before.

When you get to the island you will find a mine field and some turrets just run-die-ress pass them.

If you are or know a hunter, mechanical tracking allows you to see the minefield if you want to avoid it. Survival spec gives stealth as well to get past the turrets without aggro. But for a group, add a rogue in the mix for the group conceal and getting to the spawn point will be a little quicker.

How this works is it buffs all your pets with [spell=229872] for 15 seconds making them large and red. Not only hunter pets and battle pets, but things like your Bodyguard, the pet from [item=143534] and even Nomi summoned from [item=86425]!

As far as getting the toy to drop it has a very low chance but you can stay and farm it indefinitely. It dropped on my third kill, but it may take more.

What about warlock pets? :o

can confirm it works on locks, same with the oil and drudge fluid, the druuge fluid it makes your infernal into a holy light infernal :D

It just looks like the old bestial wrath form. For some reason it's not working on Hati for me.

In 2025 it just gives one of your pets the old Bestial Wrath form for 15 seconds. Pretty weak.

This has a low drop rate. I spent about 3 hours farming him, fortunately there were lots of other people coming and going so killing Dr. Weavil was smooth. I died trying to solo it as a BM hunter, you really need those interrupts. Anyhow I was glad to finally get this toy. I macroed it with my Bestial Wrath so every 10 min my pets get super big and crazy. Nice way to intimidate people in PVP.

This is the ultimate toy for BM hunters who happend to have tamed a T-rex like [npc=71529] and changed Hati's appearance to it with [item=138393]. Why so? Because it wont just make your pets red and huge, Hati will will be GIGANTIC!

Just wanted to confirm as I have not seen it listed here as of yet, but you CAN still get this to drop if you already have the toy in your collection. Of course it still requires a bit of luck as it is a low drop rate but there it is.

Doctor Weavil hits like a wet noodle..

But since he have a lot of Health AND Drudge Bolt Volley gives you a stack that kills when you have 10, you should take care to interrupt him. Also, it's not uncommon that Drudge Supervisor from below (which also casts Drudge Bolts), good strong AoE is advised to kill adds ASAP.

Killed Dr. Weavil about 50 times (I lost count); I received the following loot: 1 [item=142265] 24 [item=142262] 41 [item=142264] 43 [item=142263] around 600 [item=142266] (count is a rough estimate due to killing other things in the area) [item=142262] is not soulbound, so they can be traded or sold on the AH, no real market for the AH on my server group, though. Dr. Weavil is easy to solo, even with no interrupts, he was down before I got two stacks of his [spell=229812]. Save your interrupt for his [spell=25774], it's kind of annoying, but not critical (unless you're squishy)

I cant get it to work on hati anymore, may just be nerfed while having the devilsaur appearance, but cant make hati affected by it.

Can confirm this; I tamed Thok, and did the Essence Swapper so I had two Thoks (though Hati was a bit bigger, oddly). I used the toy so I could get a moment of chuckling, only to see it not affect Hati. I tried it again several times, and the same thing happened with no giant Hati. I removed the swapped appearance and tried once more, but even default Hati won't grow. RIP fun.

I got this toy today and I'm not able to get it to work with Hati either. Which was odd, because it worked on Jeeves.

Finally got my [item=142265]!

Took me 82 attempts before it dropped...

Not even kidding...two attempts afterwards I got another one.

After all was said and done, 84 runs yielded the following:

210x [item=142263] 1,784 [item=142266]

Made approximately [money=287G]

I have been grinding this toy for a few days [i](Currently no luck)[/i] and have been timing kills/respawn time - which seems to be around 7-8 minutes on average, with the quickest respawn being 5:39 and the longest being just over 10 minutes.

Took me 7 kills for the toy to drop. I used my demon hunter because its easy to glide down to the isle. Could have used another class with a goblin glider too. Patience, azeronians. It still drops.

Today I decided to go try my luck to get this. Never tried before and it wasn't so bad. Timer seems to be 5-6 minutes per respawn and my Rogue easily chopped him down with no issues. I killed him 24 times and then on the 25th, I got the Big Red Raygun. I got up to go grab my mail and get a drink and when I came back to my laptop, he had respawned again so I killed him again and lo and behold, I got a second Big Red Raygun, so one for my toy box, one for the AH!

I had read this comment while waiting for him to respawn. I'd been camping him most of the day, popping over every 6-8 minutes to kill him while doing other work on the computer. Just on a whim, once I finally got the toy for myself, I decided to wait for one more respawn. Damned if I didn't get a second one to drop on the very next kill!

The effect of this toy should definitely last longer. It lasts only a matter of seconds before it wears off.

Finally got this toy after 47 [Drudge Fluid] drop, translate to probably about 70 Doctor Weavil kills. Consider farming this toy with a rogue; this is way more rewarding with pickpocketing and farming [item=144345] from [item=144346] Enchantment. Kill Doctor Weavil, pickpocket and kill all three cabins of mobs. Wait for Doctor Weavil to respawn and repeat. In total I got 1 [item=142265] 47 [item=142264] 130 [item=124437] 71 [item=116415] ~170,000 [currency=1416]

Got my rogue out. Got the zoo keeper shoulder enchantment in Dalaran. Got there via Uldum (Alliance). Managed to stalk my way to the middle of the island. Found them all in the houses. Pick pocketed those ones. Prepared for the BIG grind. Was looking forward to collecting Coins of Air. Found Dr Weavil upstairs @ 77 17. Was hoping the toy would drop in under 50 kills. Of course the toy dropped on the first kill. I never have that sort of luck thus I can only presume the drop rate has been significantly improved. He is 112 Elite thus easy kill for a 120 Rogue.

I decided to try this toy in a casual way instead of camping it, I would log on a toon parked there every day and kill it, and then log off, try again the next day. It only dropped for me after 97 tries. Thought someting was off with my toon haha. If you're like me, don't give up! It will drop eventually!

Works great on [item=168016]. Enlarges the sphere but does not change color.

Got it on my 12th try. Looks amazing on Xuen. Now it's even more scary of a cool down. Well worth the little over an hour farming. I also got Alysrazor Mount today. Not usually this lucky

Drops around the 30th kill for me.. He respawns around 5 minutes.. so 5*30= 150 minutes... but realistically a day of farming due to the boredom. There were 2-3 others there also farming it.. Good luck

It dropped for me on the fifth kill. I'm going to go buy a lottery ticket.

Finally, after farming off and on for several days, it dropped on my 76th attempt.

I got 6 in like 77 kills. Seems it is not that rare. Last 3 dropped in aprox. 10 kills.

Got it today. Doctor Weavil respawns like every 5 minutes. I was very lucky. Got it on 2nd Kill.

Took me a few hours of camping today. Fortunately i got it just as somone else turned up to camp it. Phew!

weird fact i found out today, it doesnt only make PETS bigger.. but the DF tents you can make in tailoring/LW makes them bigger too! haha :D

Sadly only for about 15 seconds. Bigger tents would be cool.
