Formula: Enchant Weapon - Icy Chill

I got this twice under 30 min! As Iam an enchanter I took one for myself and layed one out in the AH (19 g earned)

This was actually fairly easy to farm. The mobs that drop it spawn ALL over the place in the frozen lake just outside of Everlook. To make this better, you can kill each one in a single cast of arcane missiles without relying on crits.

Enchantment Glow: Bright white Alike enchantment glow: None?

Screen Shot Note: The Arrow shows the direction of the white globs. They move from the bottom of the weapon (The Hand) up towards the tip of the weapon in a "dripping" fashion. Debuff: "Chilled": Target's movement slowed by 30% and time between attacks increased by 25% for 5 sec.

in terms of appearance, it's a white version of fiery.

Is this like the arrow-schematic for engineers that only drops for enchanters?

Farmed 1 in under 30 minutes. If you don't see allot of this mob around, you can kill the other one's and she might spawn in there place. Also note, found two rich thorium veins while farming. One was on the West side of the frozen lake and the other on the East. Talk about incentive. lvl 60 warrior.

why has the price of this enchant dropped so much? its like 5g on my server

I'm guessing because the essences, which used to cost 8-9g each, now frequently drop from elementals in Outlands, byproducts for people farming primals. Thus, they sell for only about 1g (or less), lowering the prices of enchants and armors that use them to nearly nothing.

i went on for about 20 minutes and grinding on the highbornes and i got 3 of them.

67 kills and still no drop

This formula drops off in winterspring by the mobs at Lake Kel'Theril in Winterspring, actually drops quite often. and it's sells OK, but not horrible high.

It is quite possible that this drop rate has been [b][u]raised[/u][/b]. I was doing a quest for these mobs and after killing about 30, i left with 3 icy enchant formulas.

Yeah, the drop rate is nice. I came here to farm them, in less than 10 minutes, I already got the drop. Might farm one or two more, to make a bit of a profit. Got my second 18 minutes after posting that (well, was afk for about 5 during that time)

I grinded the mobs in Lake Kel'Theril in Winterspring for like 30min, got 3 drops.. first just after 5 mobs.. and guess what I found when I got to Everlook? The 100hp chest enchant sold by Qia <Trade Supplies>

I haven't found the drop rate very dependable. When I first went for it, I probably killed over 100 Anguished Highborn... never dropped. Then i just bought it off the AH for about 6g. Couple days later I went back and i got 2 of them after killing 30. >.< doh!

I got it in 5 kills, haven't tried to find it again

I was farming it for cca~5 hours but i didn't get a drop. But I wasn't unlucky, i have dropped Dwarven Hand Canon (Epic), Krol Blade (Epic), Stockade Pauldrons (Epic), Axe of Rin'ji (Rare) and Viking Warhammer (Rare). I also dropped lots of green items, but that Formula not o.O

got 2 within the killing of 10 mobs plus a blue bow.

First a tip: kill of the Suffering Highborne too, the have the same spawn points. This to prevent the situation that all spawns are Suffering Highborne. No fun to go around killing them for 10 minutes to make room for new Anguished Highbourns.

So as some1 before me pointed out...it can vary alot from time to time. :)

I farmed for this for over an hour at lv 70 before I got it. They must have lowered it again.

Seriously im not kidding i got this off my first kill and i was planning to sit there for awhile farming this. The rates are inexplicable but it seems that this enchant is certainly obtainable and not some out of reach rare item. If u really want this i'd either take a 70 to speed up the process or prepare to stay for an hour or so pending if anyone else is around doing quests or farming.

45 minutes of runnin' around killing everything in the area, totaling at 84 kills before I got it to drop. Luckily, I was the only one there.

the thing i dont like is the water elementals while farming it they are so ... GAH i hate them

Just got mine on the third kill, Very easy to farm.

1. 30 kills its easy farm tho

2 formulas in 12 kills while farming frozen ectoplasm... >.> <.< :D :P

4 kills - 2 drops... Luck i guess. :)

got it within 5 minutes as a lvl 80

Has this been forgotten or something since WotLK? About a month ago i sold one in 5 seconds on AH for 100g, but now i can't seem to sell it at all?

got it in maybe 200 kills... Totally worthy although, because the enchant goes for 100g - 200g on my server. Good luck farming!

Got mine in 1 kill, farmed 25 more, dropped a blue gun as well.

probably lower proc chance because of the level difference. and probably shorter duration of the effect ALSO bigger chance that target over lvl60 will resist it.

Not sure if they up'd the drop rate, but I must be lucky. When farming this I got it within 10 kills.

got it with the 3rd kill today, not sure if they raised the drop rate on it with the new patch. but i was set to farm

HAH, didnt even know this dropped here and found 2 in the space of 10 seconds. Hard to farm? I think not.

Dropped after about 30 minutes of farming, but I only realized they shared spawns with the others after 20 minutes ^_^.

Good drop rate. Two dropped off of the first eight mobs I killed. I left the Anguished Highborne (ghosts) alone. Not sure if the higher than expected drop rate is due to Blizz or luck (Patch 3.2). ETA: I farmed to the far East, by the structures (not on the open lake).

Do not farm this you wont get gold out of it.

On my server this enchant recipe goes for about 100g. It can be profitable. For the enchant itself? Probably not.

Went to Winterspring to start farming this enchant, and within 10 kills it dropped for me. I'm sure it was partly luck but it's probably not as rare as some other enchants. (Took me about 50 BRD runs to finally get Fiery Weapon). Good luck.
